A cozy bar with lovely staffs and deliciously inventive cocktails.

It was a rainy day, so they gave us free grapefruit tequila shots on the house to warm us up, which did.

The friendly bartender Dimas explained the menu to us, giving us suggestions based on what information he gathered from us on the chat. The menu itself is divided by the strength and the mood. Behind are light cocktails, Between are experimental cocktails that aim to dazzle. Beyond are cocktails that turn up the knob in terms of flavour and strength.

Since I wanted something light, I ordered the Forest With No Trees. It is a refreshing mix of house-made mint liquor and melon juice, foam, and Midori. My friend got the Nangke Lande, a jackfruit whisky mixed with Vermouth and raisins. We enjoyed our drinks, especially while awe munched the lovely crispy snacks they provided.

My friend is a cocktail enthusiast, and while she bantered with the bartender, he gave us a shot of jackfruit whisky and peanut butter whiskey. We felt really pampered and cared for.

In short, I’d recommend this bar for a lovely, cozy night out, when you are feeling bold for new flavours, but also desiring a place you could wind down. Legend has it that they also serve Indomies for free late night. I think it will also make a wonderful dating spot.

If you’re that person who seeks warm and non-intimidating ambiance, this place is for you.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted with warmest welcome by the staffs. Once seated, the bartenders and the mixologists will talk to you passionately about literally any topic you can think of while still respecting your personal boundaries. And yes, the DJ will let you talk. The playlist and volume, to me, seemed like a right balance.

While they’re mixing and pouring, you can tell that these people are the ones with that spirit of craftsmanship. Why? Because they can explain their cocktail’s ingredients and flavour notes eloquently. As a casual drinker, I feel like they educated me about those crafts. A question about allergy also really helpful for some of us.

My first sip here was accompanied by the crispy pork dish and the flavour was splendid, so I ordered it in my second visit.

Don’t let me start with the service. They’ll remember your name, and you’ll remember their names, too. The smile, the talks, the warmth, that’s what would I call as hospitality excellence. Tedy, Irfan, Hani, I’m talking about you guys.
