Just went here with the whole fam to celebrate my Mom's bday. Expectation were rather high seeing the high google map rating.
Let's start with apps. Grilled chicken salad is good. The griiled chicken is so damn good. Smoky, tender chicken. Truffle mushroom soup is pretty tasty.. Worth every penny.
The truffle fries is good. The truffle butter.. Oh I wanna bathe in it. The pigs ear au contraire to popular opinion.. Is the only food that's not finished at the table. Not bad but nothing special.
Next the pizza. The Quattro Formagi is goooooooddddd.. But for me the Tuscany is better because of the spinach. Wifey and some other family like the Quattro better though..
And then come the sea bass beurre blanc.. It is fantastic!
Next the pastaaaaaaaaasss. We order 4 pasta.
The pork belly carbonara is the first to come. It is good.. Not great but good.
Next the Truffle Mushroom Tagliatelle.. It is sooo good.. Better than the carbonara..
Next come the Tagliatelle Bistecca. OMG this is to die for. Sweet, savory, tasty, creamy, and the steak on top is so tender and juicy.
So the expectation for the Lobster Aglio Olio is through the roof! When it came unfortunately.. Its just meh.. Not bad, but smells and taste too fishy. The lobster itself is good. Big size and meaty. But the aglio olio taste is hidden behind the fishy taste and smell of the lobster. So this is actually the least favorite of all the pasta.
We end our dinner with Bailey Misu, their take on Tiramisu with Baileys... Lots of Baileys! Me likey! The Baileys is strong on this one. And I do love Baileys.. Its soooooo gewdddd..
All in all decor and ambience is top notch. Albeit they actually don't have non smoking section as everyone can do vape and iqos. So 4/5
Service is 4/5 because when we came and ask politely to put our bday cake that we bring ourselves, they said they don't have space in the chiller. Hmmm.. Truthfully this is the first time we go to a restaurant and they don't have space to put our own bday cake. Mind you our cake is just 20cm in diameter. Not a humongous one. Oh well. All is kinda forgiven given the quality of the food.
The total bill with Ice tea is 3mil. Will I be back? Very likely. But maybe not...

Requires valet service (25k) for parking. Reservation is a must, when I came for lunch it is almost fully occupied except some seats such as the sofa are not. They have private dining room as well. Fine dining vibes , beautiful interior, but a disappointing services. The waitress , is rude, hardly smile, she is always in a rush probably because of the crowds, but still, is perhaps garden osteria lack of manpower ? And truthfully, food came out kinda slow as well.
They serve us welcome bread, bread stick and something like bagelan with balsamic sauce, which is okay Had the tagliate something pasta (185k), pasta al dente, sauce is like mushroom sauce mix with bbq, a unique taste , never had taste like this in other italian resto, could this sauce be a fusion? Perhaps. Steak cook fine, not dry, but the texture somehow kinda hard. Well, perhaps they don't pay too much attention cause this is not a pure meat dish. Don't know why, that day, I definitely had a bad steak day, cause I almost get traumatized by eating steak outside Ostria Ga , even the one before this is far more worse. And I had two steaks that day, not one is soft and juicy enough .
Had the bone maarow (150k), I like this one, combination with the sourdough is delicious, eating the bone marrow itself is too salty though. Bone marrow season just fine, as I was saying, eating it without the sourdough taste as if eating a salt, but with sourdough taste delicious.
Had the poured tiramisu for desserts, for me it is delicious, white cream sauce complement the tiramisu perfectly, the combination of coffee bitterness and sweet taste delicious. Texture semi soft in a good way, and yet somehow after being poured by the sauce some of the lady finger can still whit stand the biscuit texture, which is nice, soft - semi biscuits texture.
I love the interior here, food are just fine nothing special which wanted me to came back. I love the tiramisu and kinda love hate the bone marrow cause of...
Read moreThe service: We need a minimum charge of 500 per person, which is okay but annoying. We havent had this issue with the other The Garden in Puri Mall. We have a lovely experience in The Garden Puri that's why we choose the Garden Osteria for our dinner and we have high expectations. The seating arrangement was bad. We are seated close to the group party which is very loud and noisy. There's other seating that available when we come. I don't know why they didn't give us that seating. The food is so slow and not serve accordingly. The pasta come first. So my partner have to wait until my mains come. Then come the antipasti, then after a while my lamb chop finally served. The waiters is not really attentive probably because of the big group birthday party was taking their attention. But overall they are polite and helpful. Not as friendly but okay. The food. Got a surprisingly tasty bone marrow as starter. But the mains is not as good. My boyfriend got the pork belly carbonara which is okay. But the pork belly is so bland. The lamb chop is a BIG NO! It is chewy, hard to cut, and also so fatty. The ratatouille is edible at least. But really not enjoyable. Definitely not worth the price. The drinks: my mocktails is okay but nothing special. The cocktail that my partner got is nope. Choco something but nothing chocolaty except the outer glass. The dessert: the molten lava cake is not as melting. Mind you we have a very lovely desserts in the Garden. This cannot be compared. The magic garden is very good looking but taste so so and that mousse or something is too hard to be scooped. After the magic presentation done, nothing magical comes from it. More like a overly hyped and confusing dessert. To summarise I won't recommend the Garden Osteria. But surely check on other the Garden they have better food and...
