ABUBA Steak - Senopati — Restaurant in Jakarta

The place is nice, and homey, feels right for a family eating place. Now, before getting into the meat (pun intended) of the review, Abuba itself, in my opinion, is not a steakhouse. It is a restaurant that serves steak as a main menu. So, how's the meat, you might ask? I ordered a Aussie Ribeye with barbeque sauce, which is cooked medium, with veggies and mashed potato. The meat is okay, it has a so so taste but masked by the barbeque sauce. The meat itself is cooked not evenly, ranging from medium to medium rare (Which i found out that medium rare is the way to go), so do keep it in mind. Mashed potato and the veggies are also nothing to write home about. The service tho, it needs a bit of improvement. I ordered ice tea. Then the waiter comes and got me an ice tea without any ice. Well, that may have been contributed by my friend who ordered a guava juice without any ice, but nonetheless, needs a bit of an improvement. Besides that, the service is good for a family restaurant. If you want an "entry level" steak or just wanting to eat a pretty satisfying cut of meat, i do recommend Abuba to be tried. But, if you want something fancier or more various cuts of meat, i recommend you to search various steakhouses in the Senopati area or...

I always love abuba... this place served more accurate then other abuba places (you will get medium well if you order medium well) price is the same, and consider afffordable for steak restaurant.

The sauce is good, i also try the boneless chicken which also good.

The place decoration is very nice, blend in with many fine dining in senopati area... but... What with the abuba jinggle that keep on repeating, i dont mind with jinggle ir the restaurant located in other area, but if you want to be part among the fine dining restaurants in senopati, you definetly need to change your...

Udah lama banget ngga kesini dan tiba tiba terkedjoed suasananya udah berubah banget, makin asyik makin modern makin nyaman, heraaan kok ya perubahannya drastis trus kapan renovasinya, eeeealaaah ternyata pindah gedung tho yoo udah 5 bulan lalu kata mbaknyaah, tapi masih di jalan senopati. Ada meja dengan konsep lesehan, tadi sih makannya di lantai bawah ngga sempet nengok ke atas, tapi kalo diliet interiornya mirip sama abuba tebet dan depok ya. Overall saya mah suka suasana yg sekarang, parkir mobil sama motor misah ya gaess, parkir motor bisa di basement. Laah terus gimana menunya??? Nah ini mah ngga usah di bahas, pasti enak, masih enak seperti yg dulu, cuma lebih variatif ajaa. Tuuuh ada 3 macem salad, yg tak ku sadari kalo di pampang besar infonya pas masuk, sayang tadi dah keburu pesen menu favorit yang pas di kantong, cukup lah New Zealand tenderloin medium well with wedges potato and blackpepper sauce. Mesen lychee tea, sama fish bite buat appetizer, ikan dori goreng tepung cuuy tapii enaaak yoo. Tapi yuuk ahh buat indonesia yang lebih baik, yuuuk mulai diet sedotan yooo, kalo bisa Abuba mulai pakai gelas yang mudah minumnya tanpa perlu pake sedotan.... gelas ramping yang dipake buat ice coffe sama ice lemon tea ngga nyaman lho kalo langsung minum, terpaksa kan pake sedotan, naah kedepannya mudah2an Abuba ngereview gelas yang digunakan buat penyajian minuman, tidak hanya mengutamakan keuntungan dan jumlah mili liter minuman yang tertampung digelas semata, tetapi juga kenyamanan pengunjung supaya minum langsung tanpa perlu sedotan, yaaaah kecuali Abuba mau nyiapin sedotan yg ramah lingkungan, it would be...
