Chunghae Susan Jakarta offers a rare and delightful experience for Korean cuisine enthusiasts. This hidden gem is a must-visit for those seeking Korean sashimi, as it is not easily found elsewhere. I highly recommend trying their sashimi package, which comes with an impressive array of side dishes that were so abundant, I found it challenging to finish them all.
The quality of the sashimi is exceptional, boasting freshness that is evident from the very first bite. There is no unwanted smell or aftertaste, guaranteeing a truly enjoyable dining experience. The attention to detail and commitment to serving only the best is commendable.
What truly sets Chunghae Susan apart is their outstanding service. I would like to extend my appreciation to Mba Bedil, who provided swift and efficient service with a touch of humor, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
While the prices may be on the higher end, I assure you that the quality and flavors justify every penny spent. The overall experience at Chunghae Susan Jakarta is one that should not be missed by Korean...
Read moreI love this place for years now, starting from the original location at Mahakam until they move now to Senopati, still the best Korean food for me. What's so special with Chung Hae Soo San? well, where else you could taste deep sea korean sashimi that is chewy and sweet served from fresh live fish straight from the aquarium tank so it is super fresh. Moreover another specialty here is the food here served in Table d'hôte AKA full course dinner style with 4 choice of set menu which named Chung, Hae, Soo, and of course San. I won't tell you the set relay of the appetizer, entree, and dessert since it will take whole day to explain every detail item in this glorious feast however I will tell you the main actor of the full course is the whole sashimi set served with gochujang, sesame oil, and soy powder which will make you forget Japanese style...

The kimchi had a very strong fiz like soda taste. And to end my experience, I actually had to vomit everything in the toilet.
All in all, I do not recommend anyone with a decent pallet to dine here as it is simply horrible.
Update; had diarrhea for three days. This place is literally the worst place to get a...
