The Atjeh Connection SCBD — Restaurant in Jakarta

Before anything else, be careful when you park your car near this place. The parking space is so small, and if you see one in front of the restaurant, be careful. It probably is "valet". I parked there and there was a security help me parking my car. After dining for about 1 hour, he said the parking cost is 15,000 because it was valet. And when I asked for the receipt he said he no receipt, and he was helping the valet officer who was taking a break. He didn't say anything when I parked.

The coffee is decent, very smooth and just right. Mie Aceh nyemek is spicy, very nice, but I thought Aceh noodle is supposed to be thicker, no?

The ambience and design is very nice. They have smoking and no smoking area.

It was understandably pricey (come on, it was in SCBD area).

Smoking room's door sometime was being left opened. So there was no difference between no smoking and smoking area. If you hate smoke, you probably need to complain often to the servers.

One last thing: the parking scam. It is never about IDR 15,000, it is still a scam. Alas, for me, it gives this place a bad name. I don't like being scammed, so despite the good F&B I will avoid this place. Sorry, but this is an...

Good food despite lots of them are unavailable (at the time i was there). Its a nice place and has a nice vibe, but we rent a private room for a breakfast-meeting-lunch and its quite small for my group (15 adults). I'd give the toilet 2 outta 5 stars, there's only 2 toilets and one of the rooms' ceiling is leaking dirty droplets. There's a small musholla that fit for 3 people, wudhu only provided at the toilet room, no sign for qiblat, and at that time we have to lay out the carpet and sajadah on our own. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends. The Acehnese dishes are authentic and bursting with flavor, especially the Mie Aceh and Ayam Tangkap.
