Pacific Place Mall — Local services in Jakarta

I recently visited Pacific Place to redeem coins for Craw machine, arriving at 9:30 PM. Unfortunately, I encountered disappointing service from a staff member named Ridwan. He informed us that the redemption limit of one hundred people had already been reached, yet there was no clear signage or notification anywhere indicating this. When we tried to ask him about it, he was dismissive, showed a very indifferent attitude, and ignored us completely.

Thankfully, another customer service lady stepped in and was incredibly helpful and friendly, doing her best to assist us. We really appreciated her effort and professionalism.

It would be great if Pacific Place could improve on this process by adding clear signage or notification so that customers are aware when the redemption limit has been reached. Additionally, the “first one hundred people” rule for redemption seems unreasonable and could be improved. Hopefully, future visitors will have a more seamless experience.

Also will be highly appreciate if Pacific Place can train your staff better (e.g Ridwan) for better attitude with basic English...

Pacific Place Mall is one of those malls that is on the high end. From international brands to lift attendants in smart informs to high end coffee joints you get the feeling of glitz and glamour especially when you pass one of the luxurious sports car showroom on the first floor of the mall. Its Nautical themed is apparent by all the small boats on display at the top level. It’s also catered to kids and families with Kidzania located at one of the top floors along with a smaller indoor playground meant for the younger kids. There’s a renowned fitness branch and a grand cinema. Coffee shops both from international and local chains are on most levels. Sports brands boast their own stores and smaller kiosk are spread all over the mall. If you plan to spend the whole day with the kids and wait out for the terrible peak hours traffic you can do so at this mall with a bunch of activities to do other than shopping. And of course if you fancy driving home in a super sports car the showroom is just on the ground floor...

It’s another great mall Jakarta has.. but mostly focusing on high end products. You can have, among others, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Zegna, Tory Burch and Gallery Lafayette here. they also have H&M, The Goods Dept, Mini So and more. My kids love Kidszania here.. and there is Hard Rock Cafe as well as @merica which usually has special programs.

They usually have a special decoration celebrating big events in the country.

Some nice restaurants and cafes are also available, like djournals, Ippudo, Fish & Co, Thai Alley, Gyukaku, Fook Yew, Eight treasures and surely more. The supermarket is Kem Chicks.

I just don’t really fancy this place because of the traffic just to get into the place and some of the items are clearly overpriced.
