D'Bagels — Restaurant in Jakarta

I was craving for the real authentic American bagels during my quarantine. And found this store on google. I texted the admin and ordered some bagels and muffins. They sent my orders through same-day paxel. However when the orders arrived, it looked like a complete mess. They made an excuse saying that this happened because the person who was responsible for packing didn't know they were sending the order to Bogor. (I couldn't believe it because the address was literally on the plastic bag and I quite remembered that they processed my order just a few mins after I paid). See the pics.

I texted them about the messy dan super aur2an pacakage that I got and they apologized and said will send the new ones the next day. However the second package arrived one day late. Like. What the heck. It means I literally wait for 3 days to get the proper and right order (oohh oops they sent me the wrong flavor on the second package saying that it was my fault.)

The admin was also so confusing. Not professional. Tiba2 ilang. Ga ngasih kabar dan update. Ga konfirmasi...

I have to say that D'bagels is one of the best bagel shops in Jakarta, even though I've only ever had their bagels delivered. I can tell that they take great care in ensuring the quality of their food is top-notch, from the freshness of their bagels to the deliciousness of their cream cheese.

They have the perfect level of chewiness that I love in a bagel, and the cream cheese is always perfectly paired with it. I've ordered from other bagel shops in Jakarta before, but none have been as consistently delicious as D'bagels.

Despite paying a higher delivery on gofood (because the location closer to my home closed down), I'm always reordering knowing that I'll get my hands on D'bagels' delicious bagels without having to leave my home.

I highly recommend D'bagels to anyone who loves bagels. Even if you're only able to have their bagels delivered like I have, you won't be disappointed. They truly are one of the best bagel...

Tried their bagel out of curiosity. Surprisingly very good. Unlike some other bagel store that's actually serving dense doughnut 😅 We love their everything and italian cheese bagel. Yes, some might says it's not traditional, bur who cares about tradition when it taste so good 😊 Their bagel are served warm, plus point, reminds me those fresh from the kitchen...
