Maple & Oak is a delightful café that I recently had the pleasure of visiting around Menteng area. The first thing I noticed upon arriving was the charming atmosphere of the café. The décor is modern, yet cozy, with an emphasis on warm wood tones and natural light. The space is filled with comfortable seating options, from cozy booths to communal tables, which makes it a perfect spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a solo meal.
The service at Maple & Oak was exceptional. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in the door, and they went above and beyond to make sure my experience was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu, and their recommendations were spot-on.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the Maple Butter & Brioche. This dish is an absolute must-try for anyone who loves a sweet and savory brunch option. The brioche is perfectly toasted and buttery, and the maple syrup adds a delicious sweetness that perfectly balances the savory bacon and eggs. The dish is presented beautifully, with the golden brioche bun sitting atop a bed of fresh greens and crispy bacon.
Overall, I would give Maple & Oak a five-star rating without hesitation. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is exceptional, and the Maple Butter & Brioche is a brunch item that should not be missed. Whether you're looking for a relaxing spot to catch up with friends or a solo brunch option, Maple & Oak is definitely...

Here are what we tried :
Maple Butter Brioche (IDR 78,000) This is one of the recommended menu from Maple & Oak. Buttered and roasted brioche served with maple and truffle butter, beef bacon, scrambled egg, salad, and maple syrup. The maple syrup is good and less sweet as well.
Smashed Avocado (IDR 78,000) Another brunch menu that consists of sourdough with avocado, feta cheese, basil, soft egg, and salad.
Smoked Salmon Egg's Benedict (IDR 88,000) For this egg's benedict menu, we could choose the topping either beef ham or smoked salmon. This time we tried this sourdough with smoked salmom, soft egg, mushroom, and salad.
Honeycomb Ice Cream (IDR 48,000) Vanilla ice cream with honeycomb, strawberries, mango jelly, and oat as the toppings.

Read moreThe meals were very small especially for 138k 😱. At 8pm were told the chef wants to go home and to place our last orders which we did. 3 min later our tiny meals arrived and we need to order something else. The waiter returned to say we couldn't have it because the kitchen was already closed.
The truffle scramble was a 2 egg half omelette half scramble with processed cheese sauce on top, no seasoning and if there was any truffle oil in there, it was about the same amount as the salt n pepper. COP 5K - sell price 88k
For these prices you would expect stainless straws and a blender that didn't sound like it was forced to crush rocks.
The salmon wasn't to bad but with 2k of spinach (COP 25K) the meal was 138k - I feel any religious book was getting very dusty when they designed this meal. The burger was very average and to much smoke flavor and breadcrumbs in the Patty.
Overall the food quality is very average and the prices are what I would expect at Paul's or Union cafe but the quality was below average at best.
Apparently the brunch menu is great (2 friends that have reviewed the brunch) but the dinner menu is overpriced and less than average.
Throw a 7% service charge and ppn on this and you have a dinner of disappointment.
