Djauw Coffee — Restaurant in Jakarta

Was there to try the coffee cz seems it's an unique place with concept classic coffee shop. It's close to the pancoran gate, there's landmark to inform the place but not really visible also it's in the narrow alley. I arrived there almost in the lunch time, and it's almost full but the place has two floor. Dunno what to order until one of the waitress or owner (if I'm not mistaken) greet us and recommend to order Ice Kopi Pantjoran for 25k which is literally made up of black coffee with palm sugar and cinamon stick. It's tasty and had special aroma from the cinamon itself. We also ordered Donat Kentang for 18k. The palce is so classic and hygiene, you can see the road view from the window in the second floor. Actually I'm curious about how they brew the coffee cz in their social media I saw it's like making turkish coffee with white sand but unfortunately can not see cz of full place and I stayed in the second floor. I'm looking forward to be back and try...

This coffee shop is esp. nostalgic place to those grew up in 1960-80s. There are many collection from that era. The serving of the food and beverages are certainly following theme: the cups, glasses, plates, and the congklak board game. The coffee hs its own taste and more toward burnt. The toasted kaya bread is nice but the kaya is a bit thin. I love the sambal of the nasi lemak. The nasi lemak is fragrant. No wonder it finishes fast. If you want to try tge nasi lemak, do come earlier. (I was there at 10.30am and i was lucky to get the last 2 plates). Donut is soft and freshly made. I dont find it special. The service is very friendly and quick. The overall vibe of the coffee shop makes us relax (though no aircond) and enjoy the food/drink while chit-chatting...

Djauw Coffee is a modest coffee shop with affordable place that is located in Petak 9. Although there isn't air conditioner here, but this place is equipped with fan, so that we won't feel hot here. The place is quite comfortable to hangout for a longer time.

They provide coffee, honey lemon, tea, and some sweet snacks. For a coffee fan, you will be pleased to be here since they serve variant of single origin with the type of coffee beans and method that we could choose as we like.

I tried Kopi Hitam (IDR 15,000). A glass of iced black coffee without sugar as the combination of Arabica and Robusta beans. It's so refreshing to have it during the sunny day although the coffee taste...
