Five Monkeys Burger - Panglima Polim — Restaurant in Jakarta

Visited on weekday around 11 AM.

Server/cashier was very friendly in answering our questions.

I love bacon, so I ordered bbq double beef with bacon burger and fries.

Their patty was unique. It didn’t taste like your regular beef patty (I guess maybe it’s because they fry/grill the patty together with onion?) Taste-wise, the patty was very fresh! Maybe the freshest I ever eat.

However, they took the onion a little bit too far for my liking. Moreover, the bun was very soft and quickly absorb the oil from the patty. You might want to ask for mustard to relief the onion-ness. It was so strong that I was having difficulty in tasting the bbq sauce.

Because I love bacon and its existence on the burger was so underwhelmed (there were only small cuts on mine, and also thank you onion that made it harder for me to taste bacon) I will take back 1 star with me.

Fries was nice but nothing special to mention.

Maybe I should order cheeseburger next. My friend loved his wagyu...

There's no space for a parking space so you have to park on the side of the road ( note* there will be a parking attendant so you have to be ready for your parking fee) . ;-)

There's a space for aircon indoor and outdoor, the place is not that big so it can fit 30 ish people indoors, and about 8 people outdoors. (･ิω･ิ)ノ

On the menu there will be American style burgers , hotdogs, etc. The price is in the middle, about 50k-100k per person. The size of the burger is quite big for an ordinary person, and It's quite a delicious burger. (♥ω♥*)

There's only a single mix bathroom.

There's an outlet for people that want to charge your laptop and phone. (⁠人⁠⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)

Overall i'll give it 4.5/5 for this...

Tried double wagyu smash burger:The meat is juicy, the bun toasted perfectly. Ingredients are top notch, but seasoning kurang, lack of salt & pepper.

Curly fries enak bangeeet, asin gurih, garing. RECOMMENDED

Hotdog chilli con carne is OK, not special. Again, the sausage, the hotdog bun are of premium quality, tapi not seasoned well. Bland.

Milkshake paling biasa saja, ordered vanilla caramel and feeling a bit dissapointed.

Oh ya saus sambal/saus tomat kurang nendang, it should've help combining diff ingredients in the burger or hotdog when you bite it, but this one so encer, tdk berasa rasa...
