Gruham Coffee & Bistro — Restaurant in Jakarta

Gruham Coffee & Bistro in Panglima Polim has been opened since the end of 2021. They operate since 8 AM with the breakfast menu until 10 AM. And then continue with the lunch and dinner menu. They provide variant of Asian and Western menu.

Gruham has both of the outdoor and indoor area. When you enter this place, just like the meaning of Gruham which is "home", you will feel the homey vibes from this place. The space isn't that big with some tables and chairs. Parking space is available exactly outside Gruham.

We came here to have a breakfast. Here are what we tried :

Salmon Sandwich (IDR 75,000) This open sandwich is available with beef, tuna, chicken, and salmon. This menu includes black coffee already. The flaky sourdough that is more similar with croissant is filled with salmon, vegetables, and creamy sauce. Tastes good! Recommended!

Gruham Avocado Toast (IDR 80,000) Salmon and scrambled egg that are served on top of the crispy roasted sourdough. It is also served with sliced avocado with black and white sesame, along with the salad. I like salmon sandwich more rather than this one.

Gruham Siomay (IDR 40,000) Will it sound weird if we add Indonesian food during an English breakfast? hehehe 😁 It doesn't matter, right? A portion of Gruham Siomay consists of 2 fish siomay, 1 tofu, and 1 cabbage. The siomay texture is a bit hard, but the peanut sauce tastes good!

Hot Americano (IDR 25,000) It could be served cold as well. This hot americano is very hot! We need to wait for a few minutes before enjoying this. It is served with a glass of mineral water to balance the taste from the bitter black coffee. What a good idea and...

I came here with a friend for a chill catch-up session. After walking around the area, we spotted Gurham right next to Sam’s Noodle. From the outside, it looks like an old Dutch house, and once we stepped in, the homey vibes really hit us. The interior feels warm and nostalgic, perfect for long talks over coffee.

We sat at a small table near the door. The service was lovely super friendly and open to conversations. I tend to ask a lot about restaurants or coffee, and the staff here was very accommodating and happy to share.

I ordered a piccolo, and it was surprisingly good strong, clean, and well-balanced. My friend got Gurham’s signature sweet coffee, served in three little glasses: one with ice coffee cubes, one with milk, and one with sugar syrup. It was a fun and interactive way to enjoy your drink!

We also ordered bitterballen (we forgot the name at first!) — a serving came with 8–9 pieces, and they were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. A great snack to pair with coffee.

Overall, I really enjoyed the experience here. I even took some photos on the sofa because the whole space felt so comfortable and welcoming.

This spot is perfect for a coffee date, quality time with a good friend, or even a chill outing with your mom. I could totally imagine mine loving this place too!

Gruham Coffee & Bistro ini jadi salah satu tempat yang wajib kalian singgahi kalau main ke daerah Pangpol. Selain karena eksistensinya yang sudah berjalan beberapa tahun alias bukan warga baru di Pangpol, menurutku ambience tempat ini asik banget dengan tempat yang cantik dan estetik. Ada indoor area ber-AC yang super cozy dengan bangku-bangku yang empuk dan nyaman, dan di bagian depan ada juga semi outdoor yang sekaligus jadi smoking area. Aku suka banget dengan suasananya yang homey dan juga cantik buat foto-foto.

Ada wifi, stop kontak, toilet yang estetik dan musholla yang cukup bersih. Pelayanannya juga bagus karena staffnya ramah dan cekatan. Menu di sini pun beragam, ada menu brunch, lunch, hingga dessert. Aku coba beberapa menu, salah satunya ada paket lunch promo yang berlaku di jam 12 siang - 3 sore. Dengan harga 170k++ kita dapat 2 menu main course (nasi kebuli ayam & katsu curry) serta 2 iced tea.

Nasi Kebuli Ayam (60.000) : Porsinya pas untuk satu orang, aku suka karena ini enak banget dengan rasa rempah yang pas. Ayamnya disuwir dan jadi satu dengan nasinya. Disajikan juga dengan emping yang renyah dan acar yang segar.

Chicken Katsu Curry (80.000) : Nasinya lumayan padat jadi buatku cukup mengenyangkan, di bagian atasnya dilengkapi dengan potongan nori, cocok banget nih untuk makan siang. Katsunya juga enak karena crunchy dan nggak hambar. Bumbu currynya pun enak banget, citarasa kari Jepang dengan porsi yang pas dan tekstur kekentalan yang oke. Jadi buatku nggak bikin bosen atau pun eneg. Isinya ada wortel dan kentang yang cukup banyak.

Gruham Iced Coffee (39.000) : ENAK BANGET! Ini adalah coffee cube yang disajikan dengan fresh milk dan gula aren. Penyajiannya cantik dan yang paling penting rasanya enaaak! Ada 2 pcs coffee cube jadi memang nggak terlalu banyak jadi menurutku ini cocok buat yang mau ngopi dengan rasa yang light. Susunya fresh dan gula arennya kental banget, menurutku porsi ketiga kondimen ini pas dan saling melengkapi. Aku tuang semua susu dan gulanya, menurutku manisnya pas dengan rasa kopi yang lebih light dan creamy. Aku suka bangeeeet.

Iced Kopi Rumahan (39.000) : Kalau ini punya rasa kopi yang menurutku sedikit lebih strong dari Gruham Iced Coffee. Tetap enak dan menurutku ini cocok buat yang suka kopi banget.

Chocolate Eclair (30.000) : Teksturnya cukup lembut dan filling chocolate yang banyak. Enak karena rasa cokelatnya cukup pekat dan nggak terlalu manis.

Cheesecake (50.000) : This is sooo good! Tampilannya simple tapi cantik dan elegan dengan tekstur yang lembut dan agak fluffy. Rasanya juga enak banget karena nggak terlalu yang cheesy sampai bikin bosan atau eneg, aku tebak mereka pakai cheddar cheese karena ada sedikit rasa asam segar yang menurutku justru menambah citarasa dan bikin makin enak. Di bagian atasnya ada buah strawberry yang fresh dengan rasa asam yang menyegarkan. Enak banget...
