This is my first time to eat at this Holycow branch, the interior felt roomy and well designed, not like other branches that felt more like a "warung" rather than a resto with a price tag of more then 100k per menu.
Holycow is still my all time fav place to eat steak. I have been to holycow since the first place opens in radal, when the price is still below 100k for wagyu steak. The "budget" wagyu menu quality is slowly decreasing, not as much tender as it was before, maybe because now they provide higher grade wagyu selections.
Now i stick with the Hokubee steak, always guarenteed so tender and juicy, rather than their regular wagyu beef that sometimes came out dry and chewy. The mushroom sauce was once my favourite, but last night, it tasted different than the sauce i usually enjoyed. This sauce tastes very flat and with hardly any mushroom-ey flavour to it. I just visited your branch at Woltermonginsidi and after more tahn 30 minutes waiting for my order, I did not get my order except for the drink. Meanwhile 2-3 tables which came 15 minutes after me got their order already. I did not have much time for lunch so I walked out and called one of your employee to settle the bill which the person totally did not know: what I ordered, when I came. I sat in front of their cashier and already stated my order right after seated, he (the waiter) already repeat my order. This is ridiculous. So I told her (cashier) what I drank and she charged me for what I said to drink.
I suggest you made the order online with tablet like G*nki Sushi and the waiter only need to deliver the ordered meals. time is precious as you know, and I really hate it if this kind of things ever happened again.
Though your food is delicious, kindly improve...

Buddy sauce, I think, is too similar to mushroom sauce, just a little bit more onion-y. And W-sauce basically is a olive oil with some greens, very mild and clearly not for everyone.
Even though I ordered french fries, I fell in love with their mashed potato sides that my friends shared with me. Smooth and milky, but not mushy. Perfect texture.
The wagyu meat level 4-5 is too close to well-done, but still alright. Not too chewy but clearly still moist.
Overall I like it enough, better than...
