Meradelima — Restaurant in Jakarta

I just recently visited this restaurant during lunch time. Given its beautiful design with oriental and vintage ornaments, this place is considered instagramable to capture some coquettish snapshot. The food taste, in overall is quite luscious. The only reason why I don’t stamp 5 stars is due to the service which considered below standard for typical prominent restaurant. The gesture and manner of the waiter, waitress and door keeper (on 1st floor) must be immediately improved, they are not friendly at all (no greetings, no smile, answer the question with apathetic expression/ not showing respect, etc). I actually still can tolerate the fact that it also took long time to get my food was served on the table, but having unpleasant treat by the people is something that irritating. Great place and ambience.

The service was okay at best, we didn't get many smiles here..

Food was good at best.. None of the food was bad, but none was great either..

For the price and rating, the experience was sub-par.. The fish showed up after we finished eating the rest of the food, and they prepared a large wine glass by default in the table without filling the glass, which ended up as hindrance in the table..

Come here if what you're looking for is a place to have a chat, don't come here expecting great foodie experience..

We did question about the size of the fish, we ordered 8-9 ounce/ons of fish and what came was, in our opinion, a 5-6 ounce fish.. I put the picture below, cmiiw

And we ordered ice cream, what showed up was half-melted one..

It might have been a bad day for the restaurant, but I won't recommend this place.. We didn't get what...
