Jordnära Cafe — Restaurant in Jakarta

I am not certain if this cafe can be classified as a hidden gem, but technically it is, as it is situated behind East Coast before By The Sea Golf Island PIK. Because of their background in the building material industry, the ambiance is comfy and conducive for work, as they provide Wi-Fi and electrical outlets. The space is quite spacious, with a capacity that should be fit over 50 people, including the second floor.

They offer a wide variety of intriguing single-origin beans, most of which are imported. Although they use LM for espresso-based beverages, they also provide manual brewing using some of the finest competition equipment, such as the Izpresso manual grinder, Mahlkonig grinder, Pulsar dripper, Acaia scale, and Fellow electric pour over.

Since I had not tried any of the single-origin beans displayed at the bar, I opted for the recommendation of Rubi Chiroso by Prodigal Roastery. The flavor profile exhibited medium acidity, a lingering pleasant bitterness, lemongrass aromatic flavor, and subtle pineapple notes.

The almond croissant was homemade, and I must admit, I did not expect it to be this good. It was flaky, buttery, and had a delightful texture, with a crispy exterior and moist interior. The almond filling was not...

Just stumbled upon Jordnara Cafe PIK and it's an absolute hidden gem! 🌟 This place deserves a solid five stars for so many reasons. The Vienna coffee, croissant, and miso pork are basically a flavor explosion – very yummy 😋

The vibe is top-notch cozy, and the decor is on point – major heart eyes for the ambiance. 🌿 The staff here are not just friendly; they're like your foodie best friends, making sure you're having the best time without any rush. 🤗

And the internet is lightning-fast – People practically set up a second home here with their laptops 🚀 So many ports for all your charging needs; it's like they read our minds. 🤓 Perfect spot to chill, whether you're flying solo or with a group.

Bonus points for the garden hideout – seriously, it's like a little slice of paradise. 🌺 The whole place is just oozing with love and consideration. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape, munch on deliciousness, and soak in good vibes! 👌🏼💖

They finally opened! I have been ordering online for the past year and stopping by their pop ups for their croissants and crotart - my faves are Kani Mayo Croissant and Mushroom Parmesan Crotarts if I have to pick one each! But to be honest, their pastries deserve a try each.

For the cafe they pride themselves in the coffee, providing Rosso's beans for the soft opening and I was told that they sourced their house beans after a very thorough search. Next time I stop by I'd definitely go for their filter coffee.

I had their bakmi ayam on my visit since I arrived quite early on, definite comfort food. Had their home brew kombucha to go with it (you can actually see shelves of Kombucha inside). And the most pleasing is their comfortable yet aesthetic interior. Rarely do I find the pairing of great comfortable interior and good food.

Will definitely return to try more...
