KFC — Restaurant in Jakarta

ngl, will eat this bussin kfc again. i might be extremely biased because we came down at 5am from a 2 hour delayed flight and the entire flight was also very shaky and stormy.

so landing on solid ground and having hot fried chicken was so welcomed into my empty stomach. the chicken was actually out of stock so the good lad had a fresh batch cooked up in 20mins. that might also be why I had one of the most succulent and juicy chicken ever in my life.

there was no cutlery so i just used my hands to eat the chicken and rice which was both piping hot. the crispiness of the skin when eaten with the rice balanced the oiliness and juice seeping out. highly recommend dipping into chili sauce to add another dimension of taste to it. the meat of the chicken is also unlike SG's chicken - it was smaller here but the meat had a bounce to it that SG chicken doesn't have.

The place is big enough, easy to find as it was located right in front of Mall Kelapa Gading. They had two floors which a ground floor has a smoking and non-smoking area with the kids playground right in the corner. 2nd floor mostly used for the birthday party only, but will be available also when the restaurant seems to be crowded like during a public holiday, weekend or holiday season. They are open for 24hrs a day everyday and therefore really helpful for those who are looking for the food in the middle of the night. There will be no feedback about the food as it's a fast food restaurant which is the menu and the taste gonna be the same only. But still I will suggest them to check the freshness of their pudding 'cause there's a time when I got that the pudding taste felt a bit sour which I don't know why.. maybe cause of the fla or whatever. I always give 4 stars for the food quality from KFC. I love it but in overall just cannot up to five stars. Food rating is general across KFC outlets. Service was really bad when I was visiting on Sunday afternoon. The lady serving me asked what would I choose then she simply just talked to her colleague when I answered and not listening to my order. Without saying sorry then she asked me again. She also tried to post my order to different combo which is more expensive and as a regular customer of course I already know how much I should be paying, that's how I realized she posted different combo to my order.
