Situated in the Citywalk shopping mall, it's easy to access and nibble some foods with osake, highball and a lot of Japanese alcohol.

Boasting Japanese izakaya vibe, in overall quite satisfied, taste and price.

They don't have a lot of options for #glutefree and #vegetarian but you can the kitchen to take soy sauce out. But dashimaki tamago - egg rolls - and avocado wasabi - you should ask before you order.

I guess they are known for grilled skewers and some small dishes usually enjoyed together with beer and highball.

I ordered avocado wasabi - it's not even cooking, 1/2 avocado & some wasabi soy sauce in the middle. You can ask the kitchen to take the sauce away or do not mix. / 65,000 idr

Tamako - not bad. It's a good decent egg roll. / 50,000 idr

And I had octopus salad - I asked the kitchen to drizzle some sesame oil only. Usually they add some fish oil. / 68,000 idr (Not much of octopus, but not bad for the price.)

They have a lot of simple mix Japanese cocktails - mizuwaro style.

I have been to this place a lot of times. Sometimes with friends or alone. I’d mostly order their yakitori, sometimes nigiri. For their prices in Jakarta, I think it’s quite okay. So taste wise, delicious!

One thing that is consistently bad is the waitresses. Rude! None of them has a friendly or welcoming expression. Not even a smile. When you come in asking for a table, they will act as if you’re such a nuisance.

Trying to get their attention for an order can be a challenge as well.

I have moment where the waitress kept brining me another table’s order. I already have all my orders served to me. The waitress was placing the bowl on my table and then quickly grabbed it again and left. No apology. Not a single word being said.

10 minutes later, she came back again with another dish (not mine). I told her I didn’t order that. Her reply was just, “Oh” and left.

The management should really train their waitresses on services. Their knowledge on menu they’re selling too!

Is it because we are not Japanese? Because I notice the Japanese guests seem to be...

I often went here for dinner with my japanese cowokers and never disapointed even the waiting line is long but still bearable. Today i went theere with my sisters and i never been so dissapointed with the frontliner. I waited for 1hr 40mins (almost 2 hour) for 3 que. CRAZY. The frontliner dont even know if theres any seat available as they’re just standing there and talk with another frontliner/waiters. I remember when i almost get on my nerves i asked again to the same lady and she said “oh maybe 1 person after” then left me bitchily as she’s flirting with the guy who i assume was a manager there. So i decided to finally, ask her again about the estimated time as i alr waited that long just to be seated. And after i said that i might cancel as she cannot give me estimated time and guess what? Again she just laugh and go. I never ever feel so degraded as a customer, tho everytime i went there i never spend as low as 500k. Never know that japanese restaurant can be this bad. Very very...
