Omakase by NONAMA, specially prepared by Chef Tadashi. It my first time trying Omakase and surprisingly it really amazing. The fish imported directly from Japan, very fresh & the best quality. The shoyu sauces are made by the Chef Tadashi, it's was very fragrant & tastier than regular shoyu.
Chef Tadashi Signature Seasonal Starter
This starter taste very fresh, light & awaken my taste bud. The fish, seaweed, tobiko, and ginger pickle in a clear broth soup, really tasty. In the end I eat the lemon to freshen up.
Trio of Assorted Appetizer
It’s the best starter after the Chef Tadashi Signature, contains of fish which very soft, sweet and the skin itself easily melted (usually I skip the skin, but trust me I can directly eat it with any dipping sauces). The pumpkin & mushroom taste sweet & fresh, the flavours are light & the flavours are very authentic Japanese cultures. The broth are light, sweet and not really overpowering, simply triggers me to eat more food.

The most fresh Sashimi in town, the fish it self are directly imported from Japan fish market, I believe the quality are number 1 among other Japanese Restaurant. The Salmon Sashimi are very fresh with a pink shade that the highest grade. Tuna taste so good with a tasty Japanese rice and a hidden wasabi underneath the fish.
Grilled Pacific Black Cod with Champagne Yuzu Miso Sauce and dressed Daikon Holland, topped with Shaved Truffle and Caviar

Wagyu texture is very excellent, juicy, tender & well seasoned. Scallop is very fresh, juicy & sweet. Mushroom & Zucchini is the best veggie to complete the dishes, balance flavour & nice smells.

Mango Sorbet
Delicious dessert in between of the meal, to cleanse up my palette from the raw fish. The Mango sorbet are very fresh, sweet with a hint of sour, yet not really overpowering. The red big piece is like an artwork on top of the Mango sorbet, it taste plain, yet very crunchy & tasty. Perfect dessert to balance our appetite and ready for another dishes.
Apple Dessert
Beautiful Apple dessert by NO NA MA specially crafted by Chef Yuri. The apple looks like real fruits, instead it's a dessert. The green shiny skin wrapped the soft mousse and the filling is sweet apple diced with apple sauces. Taste sweet, very aromatic & it's really melted. This afternoon, I stumbled upon a hidden gem: Nonama Restaurant at Le Meridien Hotel. The ambiance was inviting, and the freshness of the ingredients shone through in every dish. For sushi and sashimi enthusiasts like myself, the true test lies in the quality of the tuna. As a Maguro sashimi devotee, I was immediately impressed by Nonama's offerings.
Unlike many Indonesian sushi restaurants, even the well-known ones, Nonama proudly boasts grade A tuna. This was evident from the first glance – the tuna slices were a deep, vibrant red, glistening with a healthy sheen. Each bite was a revelation – the texture was firm and dense, a world away from the spongy, dry tuna I've encountered elsewhere.
Our visit coincided with a busy Ramadan iftar, so a slight delay in receiving our food was understandable. To compensate for the limited ordering window, we placed a larger initial order.
The service, with a special shoutout to Leon (if I recall correctly!), was generally excellent and attentive. There were, however, a few minor communication hiccups with orders placed through different servers. For instance, our initial order of four karaage arrived with only three pieces. When we politely mentioned the discrepancy, they surprised us with a second serving of four more karaage - a delightful error for our group of nine, especially considering how delicious the karaage was – perfectly crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth juicy on the inside!
Another thoughtful touch was the visit from the restaurant manager. Not only did he inquire about our experience, but he also introduced us to the chef, who, much to our delight, hailed from Japan.
Every dish we tried was flavorful and satisfying. The only minor blemish on the experience was the slightly delayed arrival of the Maguro sashimi, which came out last after most of the other dishes. Thankfully, our initial bulk order ensured we weren't left waiting for too long.
Overall, Nonama offered a truly delightful dining experience. I sincerely hope they maintain their commitment to exceptional food quality and wish them...
Read moreCame here because of Food Blogger on Youtube. I went there at the weekend. Different price between weekdays and weekend.
The food were good according to my taste. The menu was poor because i didn't have many options available. The sushi and rolls are only about 12 menu, 2 grilled menu, 3 noodles menu all with the same soup, 1 sashimi menu (tuna was not available when i came), 8 appetizers, and 2 desserts.
Even with limited menu, sometimes we confused which sushi and rolls to pick. Just tell the waitres to order The Platter. They will came with all the sushi and roll menu in the big plate. They all taste good.
Hot Soba and hot udon with tempura or beef were good. Just skip the cold soba. Not worthy to your limited stomach size. The udon quantity was just enough. The soba quantity slightly bigger. I prefer the tempura than the beef.
Grilled section i only picked Grilled Salmon Belly. The other i didnt pick is Grilled Salmon Head. The belly was delicious.
Sashimi i only have Salmon. It was also good.
Appetizer i tried some, most of the quite delicious. They are wakame salad, tori teriyaki, agedashi tofu. For chawan mushi i felt a little bit salty.
And the last, the dessert. They have fruits and strawberry cake. I picked the last one. During food coma, the strawberry cake really saved my life. The sweetness and the texture stabilized my taste. Delicious!
For around 550k incl tax++ for 2 persons, the food itself was quite good. Do i want to visit again? No with that kind of menu. Too...
