GION Sushi Chillax Sudirman — Restaurant in Jakarta

I had visit to Chillax for taking the gift voucher from management office, unfortunately it cant be redeemed here. However we enjoyed our time together in here since Gion is relatively new fusion sushi brand in Jakarta therefore it provided beautiful interior. Nice aircon. Energetic staff.

We got some surprised on today's visit : The waitress put the food when we were praying together and we managed to hear her voice two times, probably we prayed too long or our praying gesture just invisible for her or its the restaurant SOP to just put the food and mention the name no matter what the guests were doing. The chawan mushi ikura is too watery, as we have explained to the waitress yet she came back with the exact same condition of chawan mushi ikura 😌 The waitress came over and put dessert that we didn't order in the middle of our table then she looks confused however managed to take it back without saying any words 😂 just take it back. Well maybe she has tiring shift.

However the unagi roll , truffle don was nice the tempura was okay prawn was fresh & still crunchy but i can smell the flour. Perhaps its not fast moving sku in this place. It stored in a closed place too long.

Went there during lunch time at around 12ish on Wed ,7Feb24. It was already packed. So we waited a bit. After about 30mins or so they offered us the frontside table, but as we can't stand cigarette smoke so we decline the offer and waited for another 10mins or so. Then the table attendant offered us to take that table and we can move once there's available inside. To our luck, the Sushi Bar was available. We opted for the not too long to prepare-food. The waitress said that the Ishiyaki is not too long to prepare. But it turned out we waited quite long for that one. I ordered Ishiyaki Don-Beef Truffle Don. It was rather sweet and don't really get the truffle taste. No traces of it I'd say. The food was nice and slightly on the pricey side as for IDR 95K per bowl without drink is quite something for lunch. Perhaps they would offer lunch set too next time. All in all it was an...
