Riva Grill Bar & Terrace — Restaurant in Jakarta

Went here for iftar and the place exceeded my expectation! The restaurant was at Wyndham, it was very nice, classy and quiet. We had dinner in their private room, the service was excellent. Sadly, most of their recommended steak menu was out of stock, so we ordered: classic croque monsieur (110k): tasted great, a baked layered sandwich with cream sauce, ham, gruyere and parmesan cheese; the portion was big enough for a single person! 4/5 200gr US Prime Striploin (270k): the dish was a star🥰 4,5/5 enough said baked lasagna (120k): classic lasagne with minced beef, bechamel sauce, and parmesan 3,5/5 mac & cheese (120k): classic creamy mac & cheese, doesn’t disappoint 3,5/5

Ambience nya enak, speakeasy restaurant, enak buat ngobrol juga. Classic salad nya oke aja. Nyobain steak nya, I choose Australia tenderloin, but the cut is too thick (more likely to be fillet mignon), meat nya taste like local meat. (saya pilih medium rare) I don't get pinkish medium nya, more likely to be rare and much blood. I ask buat di grill twice so I get the medium rare that I want. The sauce just okay. Spinach nya okay. Mushroom nya gak di grill dengan merata. Juice nya too much water? I'm not sure how to describe but too much Bublé there. Chocolate lava nya just ok. Tapi terlalu matang jadinya gak keluar lava nya. Would I ate again? Probably, if there's no restaurant around when I'm staying...

I came to Riva during my stay at Wyndham hotel. During evening coctail time from 17.30 to 20.30, this restaurant offer some foods (canapes, sushi and dessert) and drinks including alcoholic drink (wines, spirits, beers and water). I tried all of the food and some of the drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The service was very good, all of the staff were friendly and attentive. They always offer me extra food or drinks. During evening time this place was not crowded, recommended for those who would to go to very nice and...
