I have to highlight the atmosphere, feels quite and serene probably because they are situated in Maternity and Children Hospital. I really enjoyed eating here away from the hustle bustle of the usual restaurant.
Service is attentive and hospitable.
About 100-150k per pax for food. Given the price point, the food is decent.
Mac and Cheese, Crusty cheese top with creamy layers, macaroni’s soft but not al dente - not a dealbreaker especially since the flavor balance is great, not too salty like many mac and cheese out there. This one came out soft without the cheese trying to overpower everything.
Mie Kocok Wagyu, Came with big meatballs and small meatballs, it’s so soft I almost thought it was meltique or fat. I like it but for some people who prefers a more rubbery meatballs this might not suit their taste. The soup is probably made using beef and seafood because I can totally taste the prawn in the stock. Interesting take especially since the prawn taste was subtle without dominating other flavor and I can imagine people loving this if they like seafood. Noodle is springy and close to al dente.
Tarnera Ahumado, Sandwich with pickles, tomatoes and smoky beef brisket. The baguette is a win, crunchy outer but not rubbery, it’s like biting kerupuk. Soft inside. Love the pesto. I kinda feel the pickles and tomato are stronger and covering the brisket taste hence I ate it separately. Put more grilled onions please!
Kaya Toast, Similar texture to baguette, love it. Kerupuk-like outer with soft shokupan-like inner. Drenched in Kaya but this one tasted like CARAMELIZED KAYA instead. Not your traditional kaya. So the taste is bittersweet with a touch of tannin, instead of just sweet.
Overall I can see myself coming here for lunch since it’s closer to my office or recommend this to my other food...
Read moreWent for an afternoon coffee on a Sunday, been eyeing this spot since they started building it lol. It looked super comfy & turns out...it really is! It’s attached to a hospital, but since I went on a Sunday, it wasn’t crowded at all (though I imagine it might be busier on weekdays, no?).
The vibe is cozy, the staff are friendly, & I have to say, the security team is one of the best I’ve encountered! Super helpful, nice, and professional, even my mom loved the security!!!
Coffee was good too! The only thing I’d love to see improved is the option for non-dairy milk. For a place in this mid-high range price point, it feels like a must-have, especially since even more affordable places are offering alternative milk...
