Starbucks Reserve - Mall Kelapa Gading 3 — Restaurant in Jakarta

Not sure why, but today (2/17) barista that served me seems so tired with lack of focus.

No greetings just silent, when I told my order - zero response for some moments (i had to repeat it), then he yawning in front of me. Payment process also not smooth (my card is not debit bca but he thought I want to do a top up when I already told him I scanning for the stars but I will pay by credit card), seems very distracted with something else and not focus. My Nitro in the glass was not full, not sure but usually it is always full, but okay not a big deal. Note: picture shows after i take 1 sip.

Additionally, in the end, 1 of my order (food) was forgotten.

I rarely facing experience like this in Starbucks, not sure the issue is working hours or just ignorant discipline from the barista (he wears black colour so suppose to be not a new comer).

So this Sbux Reserve inside MKG is supposed to be fancy, but I've never tried their nitro brew stuffs. Coffee frap and peanut butter sandwich - my std order. Family crowd tend to go near the front window overlooking the Blvd. The school kids usually choose the seats in front of the counter. The wfh(o) workers takes up the darker part of the space, on the coffee bar side. Best seat: the squiggly sofa bench right in front of big window, before 5pm. You'll be drenched with sunlight for awhile before it sets sometime before 6. For all the bad things some ppl said about Sbux (tasteless sugary overpriced joe 🙄), I beg to differ. Been getting hiccups so many times at this particular branch it's borderline targeted hate crime. Not sure if out of incompetence or malice. Highlights include: • 40 Minutes Latte Delay—turns out they were using the "invisible customer" queue system. • Cold Brew Malt Bait-and-Switch—subbed ice cream without warning. Refund? "LOL," said the barista. • Dirty Chai Existential Crisis—twice, baristas hesitated mid-pour like I’d asked them to defuse a bomb. "Silahkan dicoba ya, semoga enak" is now my villain origin story. • App Payment Glitch—their shrugs could power a small wind farm. • Green Tea Latte? More Like Gone Tea Latte—sold out 4 hours early.
