Starbucks Reserve Menara Astra — Restaurant in Jakarta

This is a Starbucks reserve. Open daily from 7.00 AM to 9.00 PM every weekday. I wish they consider to open also on Saturday or Sunday. Why should they consider it? BECAUSE THE COFFEE IS AWESOME! Each month they served on average 5 different types of coffee beans. And the list keep changing every season.

I also consider this place as a place to do some paper works (projects, research, thesis, etc) with a view. This is the only Starbucks Reserve located in an office building.

The barista and coffee master are all very nice and served us well. They have a lot of knowledge about coffee and the process of making coffee. If we order a manual brew coffee, they will show us some "attraction" on how to brew a coffee bean. Different types of brew give different taste and smell even if the beans come from a same type.

My favorite manually brewed coffee is Guatemala Beans with Pour Over method. I also consider single shot cortado as my favorite.

Conveniently located in Menara Astra 3rd floor, uber-accessible by car, bike, KRL, MRT, busway, you name it :) the only Sbux Reserve in an office building, usually filled with office workers having coffee chat or working with laptop, although sometimes casual visitors can also be seen. The main attraction is the view that directly faces Sudirman Street. However, they only open on weekdays and close on 8PM.

Seatings are a bit packed in indoor (around 15-18ish, some are bar-seats), but outdoor is quite large. Place is clean and neat, servers are quick to handle orders, however wifi is not so reliable and electric plugs are limited.

As it’s a Reserve, they have several additional menu compared to a conventional Sbux. Their food is rarely out of stock.

One of the Coolest Starbucks in Jakarta!

If you’re looking for a chill place to grab coffee with a view, Starbucks Reserve Menara Astra is definitely worth a visit. The high ceiling makes the whole space feel super spacious and comfy — perfect for hanging out, working, or just taking a break.

There’s indoor and outdoor seating, but the outdoor area is the star here. You get a great view of Jakarta’s skyscrapers and the busy Sudirman street. The view becomes even more stunning at night, with city lights all around.
