A chic AND zen Japanese restaurant located at Sudirman 7.8. I was greeted warmly the moment I stepped into the restaurant.
It was lunchtime and not busy since it was a public holiday for offices there. I heard it is normally crowded, so you should make your reservation to avoid disappointment.
I tried their Yakiniku bento set with Wagyu beef slice. The quality of the beef was amazing and totally exceeded my expectations for a simple bento. The sides you get : miso soup, potato salad, spinach, and kimchi. Very thoughtful for the customer who needs a variety of sides to match different taste buds. You also get two dipping sauces for the grilled beef, one salty version, and the other lightly sweeter. For those tho would want to go light, they also prepared salt and pepper on the side for you as well.
The Ehire was tasty and great as a snack with icy cold beer. Too bad I didn't think of ordering the beer. Too much to finish for a supposedly light lunch 😂
Ordered the Enishi signature salad, which was sliced beef with Asian inspired dressing, slightly tangy with light sweetness that gives a refreshing taste to a simple salad. (Forgot the name for the salad 😅)
I tried their Warabi mochi dessert, which was very authentic. Great finish to a great meal.
Overall, it is a great Japanese dining getaway amidst the concrete jungle of Sudirman. Whether to enjoy a private dining experience for your gathering (VIP room available) or just to enjoy a quick meal with quality meat choices, Enishi is no doubt your uncontested choice of restaurant.
Impeccable taste and service 👌

The restaurant ambience is really calming /"zen", the decor is minimalist but nicely done. I recommend for you to make a reservation before coming 👍🏻
We came in groups and during lunch time. We decided to try their bento/lunch set menu. With the quality of their meat and portion served, I must say it is totally worth the price
I heard that they use a very good Japanese beef and a friend of mine have tried their Gyutan, and it is so tasty, I have to try it myself too. And true enough, the beef tongue is really juicy and it just so tasty and fragrant 👍🏻
After main meals, we tried their warabi mochi and ice cream too. They have 2 flavor of original warabi mochi and matcha warabi mochi. I love mochi, so I really enjoyed their mochi. The texture is the same as what I had in japan before (oh have I mentioned that their chef is Japanese?)
The ice cream flavor that I choose is rather unique, black sesame. It is not too sweet, the texture is nice not overly creamy and very smooth. My other friends tried their Yuzu Ice cream, it is very refreshing and not too sweet too.
Service is good too, waiting time for food to be served is reasonable for peak hour. Will I come back? Sure thing!! I have aim to try their...

I had the pleasure of dining at Enishi, and it was truly a standout experience for anyone who loves Japanese BBQ, especially wagyu beef. From the moment we sat down, the ambiance and attentive service set the tone for an exceptional meal.
The highlight of the night was, without a doubt, the wagyu selection. Each cut was beautifully marbled, and the melt-in-your-mouth texture was unparalleled. The quality of the beef is evident with every bite—tender, rich, and full of flavor. It’s rare to find wagyu this good, and Enishi knows how to showcase it to perfection.
The grilling experience added to the fun, allowing us to savor the beef exactly how we like it. Paired with a variety of house-made dipping sauces, each piece was a revelation. The balance of flavors was spot on, enhancing the natural umami of the meat.
Beyond the wagyu, the menu offers a wide array of traditional Japanese sides and dishes that complemented the BBQ perfectly. However, if you’re a fan of premium beef, you absolutely must come here for the wagyu alone.
I highly recommend Enishi to any meat lover or anyone looking for an authentic Japanese BBQ experience. I will definitely be...
