Suasanakopi - Blok M — Restaurant in Jakarta

Nice coffee shop. Very near to Blok M MRT, less than 5 mins walk. They serve Arabica coffee (not a fan of Arabica anyway but taste is okay, still enjoyable), a little too sweet for my taste even I request less sugar (barista reminds me that it is sweet though). They only have pastry for snacks here, but next door tenant they have some buffet food which you can order and eat there.

I would give 5 stars if only they change the outdoor chair to a chair with back rest. When you stay for an hour, your back will hurt, and not a work friendly desk too (they are too low). Barista said that it is building’s property they can do nothing on this.

Less parking lot too for car, you have to pay for IDR 35k for vallet parking.

Will I came here again? Hmm don’t think so. I prefer other coffee shop with comfier seat. Sorry Suasanakopi,...

I guess one of the proper coffee shop currently in the corner of blok m plaza area. But the coffee is in the average zone. Tried the arenita and it's not strong enough for my taste. Should be subjective. Ordered the croissant as it was packaged (but cannot be used for espresso based 😴, a bit let down, as croissant goes with hot white or black). The croissant is gourmet, but come with the paperbag, not about the packaging, but it's not easy to eat with all of the icing sugar just ended up dropped inside the bag 🤷‍♂️ Weird setting and design.

Edit: hey just realized the croissant were from braud. Good sourcing. Not a wise way of menu choice to pick for a takeaway only, should find a more suitable one.

But well it's ok and still nice. If there are other nice coffee places around with proper coffee, I might not opt...

Still wondering why every Suasanakopi branch always crowded? Same here!

However, the funny things that have gotten into me after several visits to here:

There always well dressed people! You know the kind outfits you might see on runway only which they are totally cool. I remember said to my friend, "Oh, I wish I can speak bluntly to all strangers who wearing nice dress today! I mean look at them!!"

It feels like homeee mostly like your friend's house where you and all your friends consider it as ours.

The snacks and coffee taste good! Go try aroma dia and manis lembut! I dare you to try it✨

After all, Suasanakopi location definitely has a good corner to grab coffee, snack, or even to spend your weekend with your besties to spill...
