Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Suji Suan Cai Yu with a group of friends, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. This gem, nestled in Hublife, has gained quite a reputation for its specialty: fish soup. Our party of seven was eager to explore the culinary offerings and ambiance of this establishment.

The warm lighting and tasteful decor created a welcoming environment, setting the stage for an enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant struck a perfect balance between modern elegance and a comfortable, casual vibe, making it suitable for both intimate gatherings and larger groups.
Service: One of the standout aspects of our visit was undoubtedly the impeccable service we received. From the moment we were seated to the final goodbye, the service was prompt, attentive, and accompanied by genuine smiles. Our servers were knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and accommodating any special requests with a gracious attitude.
Main Course - Fish Soup: Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the fish soup. Suji Suan Cai Yu takes pride in crafting a fish soup that is not only flavorful but also a testament to the restaurant's dedication to quality ingredients. The broth was rich, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned, with a depth of flavors that showcased the freshness of the fish. The fish itself was tender and flaky, a testament to the chef's expertise in preparing this classic dish. The generous portions ensured that even our hearty group left the table fully satisfied.
Overall Experience: In conclusion, our dining experience at Suji Suan Cai Yu was a resounding success. The combination of delectable food, inviting ambience, and exceptional service made for an unforgettable evening. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or simply looking for a great dining destination, Suji Suan Cai Yu is a must-try. This establishment has certainly earned its place on our list of favorite dining spots, and we look forward to returning for more culinary adventures...
Read moreA Sichuan restaurant in the heart hublife mall Taman Anggrek… Atmosphere is nice due to their attention to detail of the interior as you can see in both picture and video..
Service is a bit of let down, I was going with quite a large group (14 peoples) and I asked for a table for 14 and it seems they put a junior at the front entrance which apparently a bit unhelpful as she only answered currently all the table for large group are occupied without giving any other solution or options although I see that the inside of the restaurant still empty.. After a while a more senior lady that saw the situation directly come and said that they can rearrange the table for a larger group..
For the food is a bit of hits and misses, we order quite a variety of meals to try some were exceptional some were underwhelming, like the kungpao chicken which is literally one of the worst kungpao chicken I ever taste the chicken and the sauce are not blend properly, while the fish skin is more hard than crispy…
My take for this restaurant is stick to what their specialty which is the fried fish soup and try their ube onde-onde for some sweet tooth indulgence..
Just to sum up the recommended dish and the one to avoid:
Recommended: Chong Qing Mala Fried Chicken, Sour Green Pickled Fried Fish, Onde-onde Ube
Acceptable: Salted egg yolk corn flakes, Beef lamian, sweet and sour chicken, stir fried chicken & potato noodle
Avoids: Crispy Salted egg Fish skin, Kungpao Chicken, Horenzo with sesame sauce
All in all, a solid 3 stars is quite justified, would recommend to go for a family dinner when you want to have a different style of the typical...
Read moreso unprofessional. Called before to ask what time is their last order and they said it’s 9.30 pm since they close at 10 pm and will gladly wait for me to come (ditunggu kedatangannya) (during the call). So i came at 9.10 pm and they said that the kitchen was already closed. I told them that I’ve called before to make sure but then they said some guy named pak Andi (I heard the waitress mentioning his name) told the kitchen to close early. They tried to give me an excuse saying that the og fish dish was sold out (I didn’t even ask for the fish, I wasn’t even planning to eat the fish, they probably just wanted me to leave), I’ve eaten here before and the food was good but i would never come back or recommend this branch to anyone unless they improve their service. Had they not mention that their last order was at 9.30pm, I would‘ve not come. Such a...
