I must say that underated resto has some of the best Ayam Taliwang I have ever tasted in Indonesia, even surpassing those in Lombok. The chicken was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked, making it a delightful meal.

The food quality was exceptional, and the spices used were just right. The service was friendly and relatively quick, making for an overall pleasant dining experience. The Sambal was also outstanding, adding a spicy kick that complemented the dish perfectly.

However, there are some drawbacks worth noting. The restaurant itself felt a bit musty and not well-maintained. The ambiance could use significant improvement to match the quality of the food. Additionally, the air conditioning was not very effective, making it somewhat smell uncomfortable, especially during hotter days.

Cosy place with homey ambience, albeit a bit dark. We ordered the ayam bakar, sate pusut, and kangkung plecing - customers can choose their preferred level of spiciness.

The chicken (satu ekor ayam kampung) was marinated to the bone but unfortunately the meat was a bit tough. Maybe because it is ayam kampung / free range chicken. The marinade was good, though.
