Warung Agung Amed — Restaurant in Kecamatan Abang

I don't normally write reviews but this was an experience like no other. Firstly the food is really good. We didn't have much but I really enjoyed the corn Fritters. Shortly after our drinks arrived, 2 chicken burgers came out for another table (A French guy and young son). The father said that the order was wrong and that he had in fact ordered 2 Chicken Betutu. The owner came over and started shouting, accused him of lying, causing trouble AND wanting to start a fight! The father then quite politely tried to point out the correct dish on the menu to the owner. The owner then got physical with the guy and started pulling him around and saying he knows the truth before God and shouting in front of everyone in the restaurant. Thankfully my food order was both correct and good as I would have been far to intimidated to say anything. The father has since left a review which I can confirm did actually happen. His other reviews are nearly all 5 stars so I really think the owner of this place needs some help with...

I am glad this was the first place we ate when visiting Lipah Beach in Amed Bali (Indonesia) As we approached the door, we hear a "Hello and Welcome!" We were a pleasantly shocked, but we entered and were seated immediately and nice menus were provided to us. Upon opening the menu we saw a plethora of options to choose from and sad to say, we did not have enough time to try everything, but, what we did try, was awesome!!! Bali style home cooking at its best! You can feel the love in the food, and we were hooked. We came by for dinner as well, and were treated to live music by one of the owners and believe me, he has SKILLS! This place just has good vibes and is no wonder its full of visitors every night and is lively.

I could go on, but, I would be writing for a long time, instead come check it out for yourself and be treated like family, and be fed like family as well.

The ambience of the restaurant is really nice. Nice concept. Tasty food. One of the best chicken curry in my life. The vegetables wasn't overcooked, chicken was enough inside and tasty and the curry sauce was yummy. Complimentary chips to kill the waiting time Good portion Good price quality performance
