We came here really hungry and ordered the soup, spring rolls, and a vegetable curry. The food itself was actually delicious — full of flavour and beautifully presented. However, the waiting time was a nightmare. After finishing my soup, we were still waiting for the veg curry for what felt like forever. No one came over to explain the delay or give an estimate. We were already about to pay for just what we had eaten and leave when the last dish finally arrived.
The prices are on the higher side, and while the quality of the food is good, I personally don’t think it’s worth the long wait — especially if you’re very hungry or short on time.
Also, a note on the bathroom experience: I followed a staff member assuming there were multiple stalls, only to walk in and find out there was just one cabin, and she hadn’t locked the door. That was quite awkward. Then, after washing my hands, the sink started leaking water onto my feet — not terrible, but definitely not ideal.

Read moreThe food here is spectacular! We went to have the pepes ikan and the sate lilit. It was so good we made a booking for the next day to have two bebek betutu ducks... wow we were blown away by the flavour and tenderness of the duck and the lawar served with it was so tasty. We had a chat with Made the owner he told us people tell him he should charge a lot more for the food but he refuses saying he would rather serve good food at good prices and the customers will come back because they have not been ripped off and can have an amazing local experience for a good and fair price. He recently added a stunning extension to the dining area built from bamboo giving it a nice tropical feel. They also rent snorkelling gear to view the reef and fish in front of the restaurant. Such lovely staff that look after you with a friendly, helpful manner that will make you come back again. Thanks again for everything, we look forward to...
