Okay, let me start by saying: if you’re in Bali and don’t hit up Adriana Cocina & Bar, are you even vacationing right?! This place is chef’s kiss – think lush plants, twinkly lights, and a menu that’ll make your taste buds throw a fiesta. 🌴✨
But the REAL star of the show? NOVI. This absolute legend of a server had us feeling like royalty from the second we sat down. She’s got this magical combo of warmth, wit, and next-level menu knowledge. When I asked, “What’s life-changing here?” she hit us with the “Everything, but let’s start with the polo squares and a amazing margarita” – and holy guacamole, she did NOT lie. 🙌
Novi kept the vibes high all night, refilling drinks before we even noticed they were low (witchcraft?), cracking jokes, and even giving us the scoop on Bali’s hidden gems. By dessert (yes, we had to order the flan), we were ready to adopt her as our honorary travel buddy. 🧡
Food highlights: 🔥 Beef fajitas – crispy, juicy, perfection. 🍤 Adriana Ceviche – so fresh it probably jumped out of the ocean onto our plate. 🍹 Cocktails – dangerous because you’ll want 3 (thank us later).
The vibe? Insta-worthy meets laid-back Bali chill. The staff? All-stars, but Novi’s MVP status is undeniable.
TL;DR: Adriana’s = 🔥 food, 🌺 vibes, and Novi = the human embodiment of sunshine. Go, ask for her, and prepare to leave happier (and fuller) than a beach bum at sunset. 10/10, will dream about those tacos forever. 🌅

The atmosphere is vibrant, colourful decor, and friendly, experienced waitstaff to go with the lively theme. Suggestions were welcomed and well considered. The team really know how to make your whole family enjoy themselves with the food and vibe. Highlights for us were the bone marrow ceviche - warm and buttery yet sharp with a hidden acidic bite. The beef burrito and chimichanga were among the best meals our fussy teenage boys have ever eaten - their own words to the chef (and they travel with us every 3 months - a lot). Elegant cocktails - we stayed on the signature list and were so impressed, the staff helped and paired our choices well with the food, and cigars. The view is outstanding but that's just an added bonus when the food and service are as good as this!! The head chef made our night when the calamari stocks were very low, finding just enough to put together our family favourite - huge credit to his customer experience skills. What a leader!? The staff also appeared to respect him and we witnessed the odd "high 5 🙌" from him to the team, behind the scenes (always a good sign). From appetisers to mains and then dessert, we were all thrilled with the premium quality and presentation of the food. Thank you Adriana team, this was a night we won't forget. Crispy Lemongrass Calamari - Sounded promising but fell flat. Couldn't make out any lemongrass taste and the batter, whilst crispy, was just plain batter. Only saving grace was that it wasn't too greasy.
Atun Taco - Shell was crisp but the bluefin tuna had an almost tough texture to it and the mayo drowned out all taste of tuna.
24 Hrs Confit Pork Belly - We liked this. Although the meat came across as a touch too dry, it was beautifully executed with a touch of sweetness and heat from the chipotle sweet potato mash and grilled lemon gel. Served with soft wraps.
Caribbean Style Seafood Paella - Flavours were okay but substituting squid with fried squid (like the ones in our Calamari dish) just doesn't work in my humble opinion. Paella was also a tad overcooked as it came across as soft and not al dente.
Chocolate Lava - okay dish. Chocolate was reasonably viscous and paired with run off the mill vanilla ice cream and slices of strawberry.
SERVICE
As with all the other service touch points at Movenpick Bali, service was very good and friendly.
ATMOSPHERE
Outdoor seating offers a seaview (from a slight distance) but can be warm depending on the weather. Indoor offers airconditioning and a great view of the surrounding villas.
