Bella Cucina — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Had dinner with my family a couple of nights ago at Bella Cucina Jimbaran and it was a fabulous experience. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were absolutely lovely and attentive and the food was amazing. Even my normally picky daughter devoured her pasta. We also had two amazing cocktails, the Jungle Bird is definitely a must try. The starter was sourdough bread served with some delicious truffle butter, followed by burrata which was prepared perfectly. For the mains, my wife had the Chilean sea bass which she said was cooked perfectly. I had the lamb rack and while it was delicious especially the sauce, the meat was slightly tougher than I was expecting. Dessert was crepes suzette which was so delicious that we cleaned the plate out. Throughout dinner, the staff were attentive to our every need. Susente and Juli especially took very good care of us and ensured that our every request was fulfilled. Definitely going back again.

Just wanted to add that we went back here for our last two nights and the food and service were just as fabulous. They set up our table with the baby chair exactly where we wanted it before we even walked in. I had the beef short rib which was so good that I ordered it again the following night. My wife had the Chilean sea bass both nights. For desserts, we had Chocolate Moelleux and the Tiramisu, both of which were absolutely delicious. The staff were great as usual, especially Mahesa who was in charge of our table for the two nights and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The Sunday Brunch at Bella Cucina restaurant of the Intercontinental Hotel in Jimbaran is SUPERB. We went for the 'Silver' package at IDR 595,000++ per person (comes down to around IDR 700,000) with no alcohol included. We arrived 10 minutes early at the restaurant and they let us in and choose the table. The buffet was exquisitely amazing consisting of smoked salmon, sashimi, sushi rolls, fresh juicy prawns, prosciutto, beef, pork, salmon Wellington, pastries, a great selection of desserts, and so much more! The buffet and the main courses (yes, you get more than just one dish for the main course as each is served in small portions) were fresh and delicious and I gotta say, at this price, they are quite generous with the selections! The staff members were all friendly and accommodating but one guy named Gusti Kusuma was beyond amazing! Kusuma made us feel so very special that day with his impeccable service. He gave us much more than we expected and his humbleness made us feel very comfortable throughout the dining experience. The live music was also really great. Suwitra had really excellent service, he asked the chef to allow a vegetarian substitution on the three course meal & had the best service of anyone here in Bali for a week! The restaurant is nice inside, but don’t expect a view at night. If you want to sit upstairs for singing/piano, there is a dress code. The mushroom truffle soup was to die for! One of the best soups I’ve had in years, the bread was really good and came with homemade butter and truffle butter— I couldn’t stop eating it. The tortellini was divine, it was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection, I didn’t like the burrata balls they were bland, they should rethink this one. The braised lamb was so great, it was super soft and tender—cooked perfectly, it is very difficult, but they did a great job making it smell good. Lastly, the strawberry tiramisu, which seemed more like Panna cotta to me, was rich and creamy & not too sweet. It was just so, so yummy. I had to close my eyes and I felt like I was in heaven.
