We were staying at a different resort but wanted to try some Indian food, so we decided to visit Ganesha Ek Sanskriti after reading the reviews. I was aware that the food would be on the pricier side, similar to what I’d pay in Sydney. However, I was surprised by the additional 25% service and tax charges, which pushed the cost beyond that of a high-end restaurant in Sydney.
I don’t mind paying for good service, but I found it unreasonable that 80% of my order was packed for takeaway, and I was still charged the full service fee. When I mentioned this to the staff, they confirmed that the charge applies regardless of whether you dine in or take your food to go.
