Kenja Ikan Bakar Best Seafood In Nusa Dua — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I was staying in Nusa Dua Area this Eid Holiday and coincidently passing by this restaurant in searching for dinner.

First of all, I have to thank the lady in the front who helpfully direct me to the parking area so that I could park my motorbike safely, and politely asked me whether I would like to have my dinner in the outside or inside area. This really impressed me a lot since I had a not so good experience with a restaurant in Tanah Lot area who treated locals differently (in a not good way) compared to the way they treated foreigners couples years ago.

When I entered the inside area, I feel the homey ambience, spacious dining area, warm yet not so bright lighting set, and again, friendly and helpful staffs.

I ordered garlic butter fish with squids as additional on menu, and it was sooo heavenly delicious. The price was considered a bit higher than the average, but it is really worth the taste and I could say worth the sensation we had.

To top it off, it was truly an excellence service they gave to the customers when the staff politely asked me where I stay and offered a free transfer from the restaurant to the hotel.

I was not very hungry when my sister in law asked us to have dinner at Kenja, as she wanted to try the Gurami, when we got there we were welcomed by life music trio. Singing good old oldies, giving the place a festive vibe. I we did not order too much but what we ordered was top notch. The Gurami was nice and crunchy, but the clams and the prawns were so good that I had my appetite back. The sauces were sweet and delectable. The fried duck we ordered was not as succulent like the ducks you get in other type of restaurant, but the lean duck was unique as it was subtly spiced and deep fried to get that slightly chewy and crispy sensation, continued with the tender meat inside. I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.

What truly set this place apart, however, was the exceptional service. I have never experienced such thoughtful hospitality anywhere else. It was raining heavily when we finished our meal, and the staff went above and beyond by asking where our hotel was. To my surprise, they offered to drive us back to our hotel, which was about 1 kilometer away, free of charge!
