From the moment we arrived at Cockatoo International Bar and Restaurant in Nusa Dua, Bali, we were greeted with the warmest and most welcoming staff, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The proficiency in English of the staff stood out, making communication a breeze, a rarity that added to the comfort of our evening.

The menu is a delightful journey through local Balinese flavors and an array of international cuisines, with an impressive selection of vegetarian options. The flexibility to customize dishes to our liking was a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction, making us feel truly at home. The complimentary spring rolls and orange juice upon arrival were a thoughtful touch that we greatly appreciated.

Adding to the ambiance was the live traditional Balinese dance performance, which provided an authentic backdrop to our culinary adventure. The restaurant's complimentary pickup and dropoff service from nearby hotels was an unexpected convenience that we found extremely helpful.

While the prices were slightly higher than those of neighboring establishments, the unparalleled service, the quality of the food, and the overall value for money justified every cent. The dishes, while not fine dining, were flavorful and offered excellent value for the price point.

Was walking past deciding where to eat when the staff were out the front and enticed me in with pure charm, conversation and offer of free entrees :) Once in and ordered the service we recieved was nothing but exceptional from everyone we came in contact with. The free entrees (spring roll and garlic bread) was an amazing start. Quickly followed by our mains ( Mongolian Beef, Pizza, Chicken Parma and some mixed platter combo can't remember what it was) the Mongolian beef was hands down the best meal I have had all holiday and rating in my top 3 ever. The pizza was so fresh, cooked perfectly not doughy, cheesey and beautiful and the chicken parma and every other meal was again exceptional. I could not fault anything.. Would love to go back again but will have to wait until next trip as I leave tomorrow..

Cockatoo International Bar & Restaurant is a hidden gem in Nusa Dua that offers a great mix of traditional Balinese culture and delicious food. The big open space is well maintained, providing a lovely setting warmful atmosphere to enjoy your meal. With a spacious layout, this place is perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. One of the highlights of my visit was the Traditional Balinese Dance performance that starts every evening at 7:30 PM it's a great way to learn more about Balinese culture. The food here is absolutely delicious—Chef Lana truly is the best, and the staff at Cockatoo are very friendly and helpful. A friendly bartender whipped up some good cocktails, they also have mocktails for those who prefer a non-alcoholic option.
