Laguna Garden Restaurant Pantai Mengiat — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Laguna is a cozy, welcoming place with nice surroundings. We ordered some tenderloin steaks with pepper saus and it was delicious. Portions were big and will satisfy even the most hungry among us. My 4 year old daughter saw the stage, where i believe they often have live music, and they offered my daughter to sing karaoke. Yet when brought on to the stage she became too shy to actually sing. She's only 4. Staff was very nice and took care of us and offered a service one seldom receives. Extraordinarily good service, food and very friendly staff/waiters.

I'm a bit talkative and engaged with the staff members who were both nice and very funny. I had somewhat of an awkward encounter with their Security Chief, named Gede (which means Big/large), but after me starting a chat with the man using Indonesian language, it all changed and although we started off somewhat insecure of one another, we became as friends after short time. Great guy.

Laguna takes great pride in giving their customers the best experience they can possibly receive. We will definitely be going again.

I highly recommend Laguna Garden Restaurant for anyone curious and not 100% sure where to go. Don't search further... Go to Laguna. You'll struggle to find a better restaurant in the Nusa Dua area. 👍 I love this place, its employees and you are certainly going...

Fomos duas vezes a este restaurante. Da primeira correu tudo bem. Mas tivemos um voucher que nos deram à entrada com 20% de desconto, mas que nos esquecemos de dar aquando do pagamento. Decidimos então voltar uma segunda vez e assim descontavamos o vale. Péssimo serviço desta vez. O restaurante estava bastante mais cheio uma vez que era sábado. Talvez por isso, imenso tempo à espera da comida nomeadamente das bebidas. Uma das sobremesas veio trocada. Tudo bem, trocaram. Acabamos, pedimos a conta, apresentamos o vale e a senhora (que penso ser a dona) que ficou de trazer a conta demorou mais uma vez. Achei estranho até porque o balcão onde tirava as contas era logo ali. Por fim veio uma outra empregada com a conta a qual paguei, depois de conferir. De qualquer das formas fiquei a pensar uma vez que achei dinheiro a mais. Saímos, mas fiquei a pensar na conta. Voltamos ao restaurante e uma vez que este tem a lista à entrada conferimos os preços com a conta. Afinal não estava enganado. Pedimos dois pratos de valor igual mas eles na conta cobraram por um deles mais do dobro. Reclamei a situação, a qual foi resolvida depois de uma desculpa de que o preço do prato estava mais baixo. !O engano não foi inocente, foi propositado! No fundo era preciso compensar os 20% de desconto bem como a sobremesa que veio trocada. O nosso conselho, verifiquem bem às contas e confiram com a lista. O problema não foi o dinheiro mas a falta de honestidade. De resto a comida é bem confecionada e geralmente em quantidade suficiente.

We went twice to this restaurant. The first one went well. But we had a voucher that we were given at the entrance with a 20% discount, but we forgot to give it when paying. We then decided to go back a second time and so we cashed the valley. Bad service this time. The restaurant was much fuller since it was Saturday. Maybe that's why, a lot of time waiting for food, especially drinks. One of the desserts came exchanged. Alright, they changed. We finished, asked for the bill, presented the voucher and the lady (who I think is the owner) who was bringing the account took again. I found it strange even because the counter where I took the bills was right there. Finally came another maid with the bill I paid after checking. Anyway, I wondered once I found too much money. We left, but I wondered about the bill. We returned to the restaurant and since this has the list at the entrance we check the prices as the bill. After all I was not mistaken. We ordered two dishes of equal value but they in the bill charged for one of them more than double. I complained about the situation, which was resolved after an excuse that the plate price was lower. The mistake was not innocent, it was purposeful! In the end it was necessary to compensate the 20% discount as well as the dessert that came exchanged. Our advice, check the accounts well and check with the list. I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Just look at how much food was left on the plate. The serving time was excessively long, taking two hours for our food to arrive. When it finally did, the food was cold and not enjoyable to eat. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but the restaurant was not! Waiting two hours for a meal is unacceptable. Additionally, the staff didn't seem concerned about our experience or attempt to make things right. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and would suggest finding another option for your dining needs.
