This restaurant is located in the middle of one of the most popular street around the popular hotel area. The restaurant is pretty big and has a traditional Balinese taste. I suggest sitting under a roof of the restaurant, outside under the trees and leaves has a lot of bugs and dead leafs that fell on my plates and napkins. The menu is really big but we only ordered some of the ones that looked interesting. I ordered ayum betutu which was 95k but tastes really mid, just tasted like chicken curry. Trying the seafood platter and I wouldn’t recommend too much. The other chicken foods were also not that good. The salad nacho seafood thingy was also mid and tastes indescribable. The drinks were all so sharp with no real taste. I get the natural idea but i honestly think it’s overrated. The guy singing was really nice and offered us to request songs, he knew 6 languages for songs which was pretty interesting, nice atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend because restaurants like this is normally more expensive then locals even though it’s much cleaner. Okay food, nice place and nice service even though the plates and forks were dirty. 3.4/5 in my opinion. Kinda recommend but look around for restaurants to...
Read moreToday I had dinner at W Gourmet, and it was a perfect example of how restaurant service should be. From the moment I arrived until the end of my meal, I was treated with the highest standard of customer service. The staff made me feel respected and important, attending to every need with a positive attitude and polite manners.
My server, Arya, was exceptionally attentive, ensuring that all my needs were more than satisfied. The food was good and reasonably priced. I enjoyed a variety of appetizers and drinks, all well-prepared and delicious. Unlike many outdoor restaurants, there were no bugs to contend with. Impressively, the staff even provided hand sanitizer and mosquito spray, which was a first for me at any restaurant.
The teamwork among the staff was evident, as they worked seamlessly together to ensure I was taken care of every minute I was there. Their dedication to providing a comfortable and pleasant dining experience made me feel happy to spend my money at W Gourmet.
Overall, this was the best service I have experienced anywhere in Bali over the last three and a half weeks. I would most definitely return if given the chance. W Gourmet has set a high standard for restaurant...
Read moreWe ate at this restaurant twice. The first time, we ordered Indonesian dishes, and the food was very good. The second time, after two weeks of Asian cuisine, we were craving something different and ordered a pizza, a beef sandwich, and a chicken burger. We had no great expectations but were still severely disappointed. The pizza was disgusting: it seemed like a pre-made dough base hastily topped with large chunks of tomatoes, all buried under a thick, chewy layer of tasteless processed cheese. The beef sandwich was a detective game: it was almost entirely made of thick, doughy white bread, and you had to search for the meat inside. The chicken burger was inedible: the meat was cheap and half-raw. After just a few bites, the stomach (which is used to a lot) began to rebel. One shouldn't expect top-quality Western dishes at a Balinese restaurant, but this culinary experience was far beyond acceptable... and anyone offering these dishes on their menu should at least be able to prepare them in an...
