Land's End Cafe — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

We went to this cafe for breakfast on our first day in Uluwatu. The lack of vegan options in the menu from face-value was a bit disappointing, but when I inquired about it I was told that the veggie breakfast wrap could be made vegan. It wasn’t anything too amazing, but was still satisfying. We also came back on the last day after I was involved in a motorbike accident which rendered me virtually immobile, and this cafe was almost directly across the road from our Airbnb. I hobbled a couple meters up the road and got the Falafel Wrap which I wasn’t made aware was vegan but as far as I could see in the menu description it was suitable. It made me realise how poor the menu notation was. This wrap was much better than the day before, but was still average. I did, however, greatly appreciate the ability to fill up my water bottle at this cafe as our Airbnb didn’t have this service. There isn’t any wifi, which is unfortunate, but not too big of a deal for me. I had been considering one of the vegan snickers ice creams since the first visit and decided to get one right before we left for the airport, and I am so glad that I did! Aside from being 55k, which is considerable, I appreciate at the handmade nature of it, as well as it’s deliciousness. I didn’t get to eat as the service was so awful that i left. I have been in Bali 60 + times and its the first time i put a review because on how rude the person behind the counter was when i try to order breakfast. I wanted to order a bkfast burrito with fried egg instead of scrambled eggs, she wasn’t accomodating and said it wasnt possible. So i just asked if it was possible to order the burrito without eggs inside and i would also order fried egg on the side to which she replied it wasnt possible either 😵‍💫 mind blown as she just dont wanted to accomodate me when i was happy to pay for two different breakfast. A cute cafe spot for a fresh and refreshing breakfast.

I had the veggie omelette and my partner had the breakfast quesadilla. Both were delicious and we could tell they use REAL and fresh ingredients. The place is veggie and any “bacon” received was not pork bacon. The guacamole is to die for.

The owner is very sweet and the staff are lovely - I had to run back to my hotel after eating because we didn’t have enough cash (cash only) and they said absolutely no problem.

Any bad reviews on this place are likely used to processed foods as we could tell the avocados were fresh and ingredients are local.

Also no WiFi because….talk to people?
