I ordered the Tropical Whopper set. The lady at the counter told me I would have to wait for my piece of fried chicken, which would be brought over to me. No problem. I asked for no mayonnaise and light tropical dressing on the Whopper, which she screamed out to the cook in the back. After getting it, I saw (and tasted) my burger had no dressing on it. When I went to show the lady at the counter, she said it was mixed in with the cheese. I mean, I'm staring at a large picture of a Tropical Whopper above her dripping with brown sauce. I was incredulous that I was being lied to my face whether or not the lie was intentional. So her first instinct is either to lie or just make up a story (oh wait, that is the definition of a lie) if a customer has a problem with their order. I think she must've had a moment of clarity of the situation and brought me over some sauce. Then my chicken never came, so I had to go back to the counter again and ask for that. It was already placed in the oven warmer. I know people make mistakes and that is ok; I take lying personally maybe too personally. You know, I'm fairly certain that Burger King spends a lot of money developing and implementing procedures, systems, software - you know, standards - for their restaurants. Unfortunately the order I got was all upsized buy the girl behind the counter who did not give me a receipt. When I asked for the receipt and for what I asked for originally very nicely may I add as mistakes do happen, I had the equivalent of roughly $5.00 chucked at me along with a receipt. My daughter then wanted a strawberry sundae when I approached the counter I was ignored and 3 staff members took photos of the girl shaking her hand and pointing to my self while laughing, at this stage I am ropeable I have never witnessed such disrespect by such rude staff. I spoke with the manager as I exited with my husband and 2 children who did apologise and said he would pass feedback to the owner but as we left the same staff member yelled out Thank you come again while laughing . All I can say is she's lucky I had my children with me Be warned Burger King Legian get your receipts and I hope you get better service if you dare go...
Read moreWe have just flown in to Bali from Manila and arrived at our hotel past midnight. We were so hungry that after checking in, we went out to look for a restaurant. Most of the restos around the area were already closed. There were bars left and right but we were looming for food. So we walked farther down the already quiet street, and after a few hundred meters, found this Burger King.
I saw something new in the menu and got curious about it. It's called Black Busan, a burger with totally black buns, much like the charcoal burger that became a fad a few years ago back home. While my travel buddies ordered what they liked.
The burger was smaller than what I imagined it to be. But it nevertheless satisfied my hunger. Food was good, service was efficient, the Indonesian lady staff was nice and courteous.
