I usually don’t review until I’ve finished my stay somewhere - but I don’t think I need to wait for that for here. Booked the ‘deluxe double room’ and it’s fab. We initially started one floor up but after deciding to book for longer we moved downstairs purely as our room had already been allocated. Not an issue as we booked late, we were able to chill in our room/keep the room until the room below was available so was no problem at all. Same room and maybe even better (though I can’t explain why so). I’d recommend booking this room off the bat as they appear to be newer, and it seems to be where the good reviews come from. They’re only £18 or so a night too. Good lighting, comfy bed and pillows, balcony, good air con, fridge, kettle with coffee and tea. Wifi is hit and miss (when you’re connected it’s great but mine makes me log in all the time, could be an issue with my phone though). Very clean in rooms and grounds. Lots and lots of lovely staff all always working hard, the place is run extremely well. From the outside it almost looks closed, and there’s a little building works going on but when you enter it’s like a different world. I was shocked at how big it actually was and how peaceful. Pool area is fantastic, with a bar in the pool and resto beside, staff will always come take your order wherever you are in the area and you can pay at the end or charge to your room on checkout. Great Long Island ice tea and espresso martini. Great for all people, solo, couples, families, young and older, there’s a whole mixture of happy guests. We’ve stayed all over south bali now in many places and it’s often been hit and miss, or not ended up being how it’s shown online. This place is our favourite and we’re so glad we found it near the end of our trip. The only one singular negative I would have to say is later in to the night there are quite a few bikes coming through, even though engines are meant to be off past receptions, this in turn sets all the dogs off every ten minutes. This doesn’t personally bother me as I’m someone that uses headphones regularly and to go to bed, but it did keep my partner up till about 2am. We’re hoping it was a one off. Despite this, we’re hoping to extend again to finish the trip if it’s better the next two nights. If not, it’s no reflection of here and I would definitely return, but we’ll need some solid sleep before our flight! Thank you again to all the staff here for ending our...

Disgraceful behaviour, complete scammers

The worst experience and customer service I’ve ever received from a hotel, and I have been travelling South East Asia for the past year and stayed in 52 hotels/apartments/villas.

The hotel falsely advertised the room, showing a completely different room and then tried to argue that the listing was showing all of the rooms in the hotel. That’s completely wrong, as it shows under ‘this room’ and even if that was the case, that’s their mistake that they’ve listed it incorrectly. Funny how the ‘Suite’ room doesn’t show any other rooms!

The front desk woman service was extremely rude and immediately defensive, I’m assuming as that’s because she has to deal with this multiple times a day as they’re literally SCAMMING PEOPLE. You should be ashamed of yourself. If this was a genuine mistake, she could have politely explained to that rather than outright lying and having an attitude about it.

The front desk woman even said ‘nobody has had this issue before’ yet if you check the Google reviews, you can see that’s completely untrue. So they’re liars too.

Usually when you’re shown to your room, the person showing you will show you the aircon, Wi-Fi password etc yet this one just ran away as soon as he’d shown us to the room, now I can see that was so we wouldn’t question why the room was wrong.

We had to visit this area for the hospital as my partner is very unwell yet he has been forced to argue with your rude, arrogant staff and tried to be forced to stay in a disgusting, mouldy room that isn’t what we booked or paid for.

You cannot advertise a room as having a kitchen area, bath and normal shower then change the room when people arrive.

Eventually they ‘upgraded’ us as in, we received the room we paid for but not without making us wait an hour for the room, in the mouldy smelling room. I’d be surprised if I don’t get sick from staying in that room for just one hour.

The room was still dirty, the bedding was stained, a lot of ants and it was extremely noisy all night.

Overall an awful, stressful experience that took too long to resolve due to the false advertising listing and unhelpful, rude front of desk woman and was another unnecessary stress in an already...

Amazing place. Me and my family sayed here for a week for my mums 50th. From the front of the hotel it dosnt look good but as soon as u walk in, it suddenly opens out into this tropical paradise with so many trees and bushes its really nice. The rooms where great you get room service daily with new towels and 2 bottles of water, beds made and cleaned and floors moped and sweeped etc. The water takes a few mins to heat up. The breakfast is amazing u get a basket of pastries and yogurt granola bowel and 2 danishes and fruit for free. The chocolate pancakes are absolutely amazing they are on the kids menu but adults can order as well and i would recommend it,

and the omelette as well. The dinner was also incredible especially the satay its the best satay ive had and its so good that we didn't eat out the whole time we where there we just ate at the hotel its that good. The service was some of the best ive had especially the server named Ayu, she was incredible possibly the best server ive ever had she was so nice and accommodating and very hands on. My nephews loved her and would go up to her for cuddles everyday. She has a good memory as well as there was 9 of us and she could remember what we ordered without looking at the sheet. The hotel is walking distance from many things which is a bonus but its also right on the busy streets.

There was nother server at breakfast times that was also fantastic but i didn't catch her name unfortunately. They also fix any issues you have in the room asap and will get it done that day. But overall it was a great stay and experience barely any complaints. But the light of it all was the server ayu she was fantastic she did multiple roles at once eg being the bartender at the pool bar, the dinner server and breakfast server. She has worked there for 10 years and it shows. Would definitely...

I had an amazing stay for my birthday with my friends. We had a room upstairs and it was clean comfortable and night staff carried my bag up the 3 set of stairs for me, so helpful! Everything in the room worked well. The hot water did take several minutes to heat up but once it was hot it was great. The room was cleaned daily. With 2 bottles of water left everyday. All staff I encountered were so friendly and helpful. It was such a relaxing atmosphere as soon as you walked in off the street from the hustle and bustle. The gardens were beautiful and it was beautiful to wander around. The pool & pool bar were very good & clean. There was a massage area next to the pool with good prices. There arw double key locked safety boxes at reception for your valuables if you choose. The breakfast was nice & a good half a dozen options to choose from. Fruit was always fresh & different juice offered daily. I even got a beautiful pancakes for my birthday breakfast & staff sang happy birthday. It was very thoughtfull. A birthday cake later in the day also!! I felt so spoilt 🥰🫰 The only thing I think could be improved on was the hot breaky food temperature. It was only just warm at best. Which is disappointing when you're having a hot breaky. The spinach would be so yummy if it was warm. The front entrance staff were so lovely. Always happy to lend a hand crossing the road, shopping suggestions and anything else they could help with. I'd definatly stay again. It's in a convenient location with everything you need at your doorstep. See you next time in Bali!

It is located in a hot neighborhood within a 12-3 minute walk from the beach. Two-star? Why? The service, the kindness of the staff, and the proficiency are five-star. I arrived anxious about the low price, but I was relieved as soon as I arrived. It was touching to see all the employees being friendly and professional and faithfully managing them anywhere. It's a building without an elevator, but thank you for moving that heavy luggage bag. And it's amazing how it can be so quiet in that noisy neighborhood. The nice swimming pool and garden that doesn't match the price are well maintained and breakfast is really amazing. I wasn't bored during my three nights. In particular, mango balls among breakfast menus are really better than any other menu at other cafes in the city. The old building and the garden were so dense that it seemed that the only disadvantage was that there were so many mosquitoes, but they were also paying attention to it by disinfecting smoke bombs. Oh, the shower filter turned black in a day or two.TT However, since it has so many advantages and excellent cost-effectiveness, I want to stay again for a long time next time I come to Kuta.
