We decided to visit this café for breakfast as a family, drawn in by its high ratings. Big mistake. Right off the bat, there was no avocado, slashing half the breakfast options. We ordered smoothie bowls, and they arrived without yogurt. Seriously? It took a ridiculous 45 minutes to get our food, and we were the only customers.
Against our better judgment, we gave it another shot the next morning. We ordered croissants and coffee, hoping for a better experience. Nope. It took them 25 minutes to serve a cold croissant and lukewarm coffee. When I asked how long the croissants had been sitting there, the server admitted they were 2 or 3 days old. She then microwaved the croissant, turning it into a rubbery mess that was inedible.
The service is painfully slow, the food is anything but fresh, and they can't seem to keep basic ingredients in stock. Two days in a row of sheer disappointment. This is my first negative review ever, but it was just too much. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The high ratings are misleading; don't...
Read moreWe loved this delightful little cafe, which we visited a couple times for breakfast.
On both visits, we had the pleasure of trying their delicious dishes, including the classic eggs benedict and a personal favourite of mine, the smashed avocado with feta and mint on sourdough bread. While the combination of flavours was delightful, I must admit that the sourdough bread was disappointingly tough and challenging to bite through.
However, the minor setback with the bread was overshadowed by the overall experience at this cafe. The service, although occasionally slower, was redeemed by the genuinely kind and welcoming staff. Their attentiveness and sincere concern for their customers' satisfaction were evident throughout our...
Read moreI'm not sure how this place is rated so highly, fake reviews or maybe it was better in the past. There's nothing special about this place. Seems over priced for what's given.
The "smoothie" isn't a smoothie it's just juice poured over ice cubes. Very disappointing of you're expecting a smoothie. The buah bowl sounds good on the menu but what you get is largely a bowl of fruit with a dusting of granola. Homemade granola is about the cheapest ingredient in the world, it's just toasted oats. Why such stinginess with some oats to give it some crunch.
Just another very...
