Sang Ria Grill — Restaurant in Kuta

Was hungry and live close to the restaurant remembered going there about 2013... often with friends...So I sat down place was nearly empty 7pm....had a feeling that I should leave or go to the crowded Restaurant upstairs as it was very busy! After about 10 minutes l got the waitress's attention and ordered the house specialty "Thai Yellow Curry" and a fruit juice... after waiting for at least another 20 mins it was eventually brought to table....... advertised as Prawn and Pork in spicy thick sauce with mix veggies.... . As soon as I looked at it I had my doubts but being near starving by then I went ahead and ate it..... Two Prawn on top of peices of meat in a runny tasteless liquid with raw cucumber in chunks(that was meant to be the veggies) after a few mouthful's I asked for salt n pepper and chopped chilli ......it was the worst meal and service I've ever had...the meat y do tough n tasteless it could of been anything LITERALLY....I KNOW IT'S POINTLESS TO COMPLAIN IN THAT SORT OF PLACE AS THEY JUST DON'T CARE.... SO AFTER MUCH WAITING..I HAD TO GO AND ASK FOR THE BILL......ANOTHER 15 MINUTE WAIT............. I COULD NOT GIVE IT A BETTER RATING..... Here in Bali places come n go within a year or two..I'm surprised that this place is still...

We visited last night for dinner and simply had the worst service. We are regular visitors to Bali and have never experienced such bad service. What makes it worse is I suspect it was the owner or manager who treated is so poorly. She appeared to have friends or family in the restaurant and spent her time with them rather than running the business and looking after her paying customers. We ordered drinks at the same time as our starters but the food never came out. We waited for well over an hour for the food and asked several times what was going on but nothing happened. Eventually someone came and took our order again and after some time, we were told that just the starters would be over a 20 minute wait. Not the mains, just the starters! After waiting for so long we decided to leave and go somewhere else. When paying for our drinks as we left, the owner/manager gave no indication that she cared at all with what had just happened. We have never seen such poor service, even in Australia. We will never come back to Sang Ria Grill again and will never recommend it to friends who...

Attended the upstairs part of this restaurant which had a different name of, I think, "Warung Asia". The menus of both restaurants were given to us so we had a large choice of dishes to choose from. My review will be purely based on my experience with Warung Asia that was situated upstairs. We were shown to our table which we reserved and handed menus from both restaurants. My partner and I found the menus to be dirty and we needed to sanitize or wash our hands afterwards. The washbasin for the bathroom was outside the bathroom in full view of the patrons. Paper towels were not provided but a material hand towel used by previous people was available. Food and drink orders were taken within a reasonable timeframe. The service was good and the staff were nice to deal with. The food ordered was delicious and plentiful however one meal received by a person in our party wasn't to their satisfaction. The prices were reasonable. There was no access for people with disabilities and I saw that the stairs were difficult to manoeuvre for...
