FishOn Padma — Restaurant in Kuta

The restaurant is very nice and is very well done. It’s a huge space with fans, tvs and all new furniture. The staff is welcoming, attentive and very kind.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the service. It’s not that it was horrible, but I just found it unpleasant. The fry on the calamari felt greasy and heavy. The same for the potato chips. The focaccia bread was a little thick and lacked the airiness that you want in focaccia. They were also very short on the olive oil and vinegar. The burger was uneven. Two small pieces of steak with a huge sesame bun that was a little dense. And the mojitos were good, but didn’t seem to have much alcohol. They were buy 2, get the 3rd free, but all three drinks have to be exactly the same which was odd.

For the price, I wouldn’t return. We paid $32 total and were not full...

Fantastic fresh food, wonderful friendly staff, very clean and modern, loved that the smoking section was separate!! Thank you! No horrible cigarette smoke ruining drinks and dinner!! Very affordable, staff were just so helpful. Ratatouille was a delicious side to my chicken, and it was great to have such diverse choices offered; hubby absolutely enjoyed his fresh lobster. Prawn cocktail was perfect - big juicy fresh prawns, unlike most other establishments where you get tiny...

I ordered battered Barramundi it was disgusting, no flavor at all couldn't get salt out of 3 different grinders...batter had no flavor at all, fish was tougher than cheap steak. After 2 mouthfuls I told the staff when (I asked to take away as I thought the cat next door might eat it), little or no interest from the staff.
