The loss of 1 star was due to price.

The service rendered was par excellence. They are attentive, polite, accommodating and also very generous in their food.

We got some complimentary desserts and before meal appetizers.

Truthfully, we booked the place for a sunset view and didn’t expect to run into such a high-end compound… it was luxurious.

Alas, the sunset was meh on our visit… it was a cloud covered bomb.

The food was impressive. Take their Indonesian pork rendang dish. It was awesome!

As in all my Bali reviews so far… it’s just too hot for me to eat Al fresco. And here too, my opinion doesn’t change… fine dining in the heat isn’t all too pleasant.

If you have the $, come here for a good meal. If you have even more $$$ just stay...

Excellent service with an absolutely beautiful atmosphere!! Unfortunately the food is not great. The lamb shank was tough, the grouper dish and the scallop cakes both had tasted borderline rotten and the chicken tikka masala was flavourless. We were very excited to try this place for our last night in Bali as it has been open for awhile and had many good reviews but the food was so disappointing and totally not worth it for the prices they are charging. The perfect setting and relaxed atmosphere, the whole experience was faultless, the staff were superb and attentive, it was expensive for Bali but the attention to detail and whole fine dining experience was worth it. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty, with a choice of traditional Indonesian, Italian and Indian food...
