Disgraceful food and attitude to customers. Food poorly prepared. Confused service. Billing overcharge. What a disaster.

Ordered potato wedges with sweet Thai mayonnaise, mango sticky rice and ice cream. No main as not very hungry.

Ice cream arrived first. Whatever. After a huge delay the mango sticky rice arrived. After a further wait the wedges arrived. So mains after ice cream here? 😵‍💫

Wedges served with no sauce and the wedges were crunchy as in undercooked potato. 🤢

But there was worse… the chef didn’t know how to prepare mango sticky rice. The staff did their best to advise. The rice was a congealed mass of glue/starch. 🤮 Just a little mango. The sauce was some watery tasteless creation. 🤢

Worse… the staff concluded that it didn’t matter if I didn’t like it and sent it back to the kitchen - just serve it anyway. Yup - I overheard and understood. Kurang aja. Staff even admitted to themselves that the flavours and textures were wrong. 😒

Worse, the bill charged double for the ice cream. 🤑

Does the owner not care? No wonder the...

So.. I am staying at Ize hotel, this restaurant is connected. The photo display for the pork belly bowl looked nice, so I go. Walked in, server just looked at me, no hello, no table here or there. I asked if I can sit anywhere then he directs me. Table, not clean. Wait for ages before I get serviced to order. Had to ask to wipe the table. Takes again forever for food not sure why because there were only 4 tables eating inside and maybe another 3 outside. Food arrives, looks OK. But yikes pork belly is dry, tasteless. I ask for sambal. They bring chili sauce. Ask for sambal again to add some flavor to this sad blend pork belly. Got a bottle of still water. Bill comes out 130k… alas!

A friend of mine who lives here recommended us this place so we gave it a try. We came here for lunch and the foods were great. Had the Babi Guling Fried Rice, Pork Belly Sambal Matah and Pork Belly Popcorn, they're tasty. Awesome cocktails as well. We had the Coconut Mojito which is said to be a popular drink in this restaurant. Not to mention they have buy one get one free cocktail promo which is nice. Heard that the live band at night is good but too bad we didn't eat there again before flying back home. Maybe next time we will come here at night when we're in Bali again. Overall recommended.
