This was probably the worst seafood shop in Bali, the food was not fresh at all and right now as I’m sitting in the toilet at 12am writing this. A tourist trap set up with the drivers in the area so they can get a tip after driving customers there after their done with their site seeing. Food wise we had their set menu at 1000000 IDR not including the 21% service tax. Fish was frozen because after it was steamed it had a hint of old fishy smell and fish was not flaky when broken off from the bone. Lobster was also frozen cause when I tried to take i bite into it, hard as a rubber band, god dammmm didn’t know lobster could taste like this, prawns had to be redone because it was not what we ordered but they didn’t recook it instead just tried as a different favour to it. Clams was the shining meal of the night, 100% food poisoning was from here because after taking one in it left a metallic fishy after taste. All in all please save your money @everyone and go elsewhere. The sunset view was ruined because if you look over the beach front shop you’ll see the beach isn’t maintained with trash and plastic thrown there like a dumb site. Be safe and good...

Don’t go in this restaurant guys. Specially indian people because in this restaurant they are received table for see food people and they are not providing good service for vegetarian food people. Manager is not good. He doesn’t know how to talk with customer. Manager are crazy when cafe is full and he forgot how to talk. When I reached in this restaurant that wait 20 at reception table area but know one can inform me to where is our table. When I went see area that time know one told me that this your table. I asked so many time . When I got my table that table is dirty. I booked table before 10 days but that table is used and manager said that this your table if you want to sit then sit we don’t have other table. How can I sit there dirty table and my candle light is spoiled by Melati restaurant. Manager is crazy and not helpful all staff....

TO ALL MY DEAR FELLOW SINGAPOREAN, PLS DUN BE A GOONDU AS THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT WORTH...

Honestly this restaurant locate at a beautiful place.

AMBIENCE 4/5

Good ambience in the restaurant.

FOOD 2/5

The food are not fresh and below average. The food are already cook at place in the buffet tray to keep warm and when the food is order, it then serve.

SERVICE 3/5

The staff are fairly good in service... When my wife and I reached the restaurant, I request to have our dinner at the seaview. The staff impatiently said to us that outside full and arrange us inside the restaurant.

During waiting for our dinner, I think one of the staff can feel my unhappiness, thereby once the seaview area had vacant she straight away relocated us.

If fact i want to rate 2/5 but due to the good service recovery from this lady staff, thereby I give...

For the food, our group menu started with corn soup, which was fairly average. The main course included various seafood dishes such as fish, prawns, crab, and two skewers of squid, cooked in a sauce that tasted like a mix of sweet-sour or Padang-style seasoning. Most of it was decent, but unfortunately, one of the crabs served had a spoiled odor and was clearly not fresh, which really affected the dining experience. I understand seafood can be tricky to maintain fresh, but I think better attention to quality control would make a huge difference, especially for group dining menus. Overall, it’s a good place for the view and atmosphere, but food freshness — particularly the seafood — needs more consistency to match the nice setting and friendly service.

Nada sabía a nada.

Expensive Indonesian sea food, probably part of the payment goes to the driver who takes us there. Service was good till we checked their menu card and told them this is very expensive. They intentionally made us buy an expensive food item citing that the cheaper item is out of stock currently. A normal full meal costs $55 per person. We left with no choice and had to eat that tasteless rice and over-spicy half cooked, uncleaned tiger prawns. If you are into indonesian food and have a lot of money to waste then this is for you. Otherwise stay away from this trap.
