Nasi Ikan Bakar Manna — Restaurant in Kuta

Came here based on review and it didn’t disappoint. The wait was about 15 min due to the grilling time . The weather was warm and humid at 7ish when we arrived . The place could do with at least a fan as it was warm whilst waiting . Luckily the breeze came on a little bit to dissipate the heat under the roof ! The spicy fish was beautifully grilled to perfection - it was marinated in tumeric , sambal . With a dash of lime , it was perfect. The nasi & corn was organic . The cabbage cooked in tumeric , candlenut & other herbs is very delicious - again this veggie was cooked to perfection ! The entire set dish came with raw long beans , come cucumber & tomato , all served on banana leaf which according to the owner, the leaf releases something that will reduce inflammation when the leaf is in contact with heat . I notice from the menu , this small family - run little warung is health conscious based on the presentation and selection. Upon talking to owner wife , she said the receipt is passed down from the family and she serves only organic rice & corn. Their aim is to serve healthy food . I love this place and hope people will come and try to support this family run small business . A set fish and pea flower drink cost about 10,000rp , a small price to pay for. I discovered this place on Google Maps and was curious to give it a try. It turned out to be absolutely delicious! We also had the pleasure of meeting the incredibly humble couple who run the place entirely by themselves. They do everything, from cooking and preparing the dishes to serving the guests, and it really shows in the quality and warmth of the experience.

You can feel the love and dedication in every bite. It’s home-style cooking at its finest.

I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Bali.

AUTHENTIC TASTY FRESH FISH. A local family business who offer Balinese momma's food made with SO MUCH LOVE you can taste her blessings. The fish is saucy and filled with flavours that brought me to my happy place and the vegetables complimented the dish with vitamins and that crunchy freshness. It's not that spicy but you can add an extra level up if you want to and the sambal is wow-delicious, I gobbled it all up and wish I had a bigger mouth. The staff are SO KIND, they brought out the best version of myself. Also they have the best taste in dining music, I wanted to Shazam all the songs.
