Still the best sushi and sashimi in Bali WHEN YOU ARE READY TO TASTE THE BEST JAPANESE FOOD IN BALI. Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant I have visited in Bali. I have a friend who is the manager of a well-known restaurant, who regularly visits this establishment with me. This restaurant never fails to impress me or him. The owner and head chef is an artisan of the highest order. He is constantly striving to improve the menu and is not afraid to ask patrons to try a new dish he is experimenting with. As a regular customer, this has, on occasion, been me. I have never been disappointed with any dish he has asked me to try. Since this restaurant opened in mid-2022, I have been a regular customer. As a testament to the popularity of this restaurant, it has recently doubled in size to accommodate the increased patronage. The quality can not be surpassed. I have NO hesitation advising all my friends to go here. None have been disappointed yet. It is, by far, the best Japanese restaurant in Bali. A must visit for Japanese food lovers. The owner,, and Chef, as well as the staff, are the best around. There is a great menu selection for such a small restaurant. The fish is very fresh. Deliver and pickup available. Once again, I have visited, and it amazes me that Pak serves the best Japanese food in this area. Visited again in June 2025, and once again, all my guests commented how beautiful and fresh...

Very disappointing after I read so many good reviews about this Bene's Sushi. I especially made a special trip and walked for 45 mins in the sun and traffic to try them out on my last day in Bali! When I arrived the place wasn't very busy – 3 tables occuppied. I sat inside because I needed to get out of the traffic fumes, heat and dust/noise. Ordered a main chicken Katsu curry and 2 small sides. I actually struggled to finish the curry as well as the Chawanmushi. The curry was tasteless, I got the feeling it was made from a packet, it was starchy, artificial in taste and very starchy and not the authentic Japanese curry I am use to having.

The service was lacking! Bali prides itself on service. I also found the restaurant very uncomfortable, stuffy and hot. I didnt sweat when I wasnt walking around outside, But i started to sweat a lot inside Bene's while I was eating.

I am sorry BUT I really didnt enjoy the whole experience, the atmosphere, the quality of meal, the environment and that meal cost Rp200k really was a total waste of money! I am not even make comparisons to the Japanese food outside Bali that I have tried, like Singapore, Japan, Malaysia etc, I have had so much better in Ubud, Seminyak and other places within Bali over the years in terms of quality, taste, service etc for either under the Rp200K./
