Firstly the positives :Scenic, Beachfront location, plenty of space (until a noisy group of tourists parked right next to our table of two, so we moved). Bright and comfortable decor, lots of cushions etc. Staff were very helpful and probably 'too' enthusiastic (more about that later). Given I was in hospitality and lived here for 20+ years, I have a wide and varied experience living in Bali. So when I post a review (either positive or not so positive, I try to be fair and factual, so as to help management with feedback). I very rarely go to these 'tourist' establishments as I feel nowadays they are not catering for expats in terms of value, but catering for tourists who don't mind paying Australian prices when on holidays overseas. Now for my experience. The not so positive. Very expensive food. No entree under 150k ++. So we ordered a pizza to share. (very average quality, had so much better at my regular establishments (Warung Italia , Moon face etc etc). When I asked for pepper mill , they could only supply dried oregano! I asked for Iced Lemon tea and was billed for Blackberry Ice/Chilled Apple at 55-65,000 ++! Asked for the bill (very disorganised), staff finally came with bill and card machine, then promptly disappeared! Had to ask for another staff member after 5 mins,. I joked to my companion if we got up and walked out without paying, all of a sudden staff would be all over us! So sadly I will not be back, and have already mentioned this disappointing experience to friends. It confirms why I almost never patronise these overpriced...

Whether it was recommending the perfect wine pairing or simply sharing a smile, their presence turned an already amazing evening into something truly special.
