A lot of people have commented on how slow the service is—and they were right. I’m confused as to why nothing has changed in how they handle seating, taking orders, and serving food.
The first thing that slows the whole process down, in my opinion, is the cashier. She’s way too relaxed, considering there’s always a line forming at this restaurant. Secondly, you constantly hear the servers shouting out order numbers. With seating spread over two floors, it’s clearly not efficient for them to serve food by yelling numbers out when you have a huge area to cover. We kept hearing the same numbers being shouted over and over, with no one claiming them.
Third, we waited for about 30 minutes, and our food still hadn’t been delivered/called out. Instead of asking the server—who would just tell us to keep waiting—we went straight to the kitchen. There, we handed over our bill with the order, and they taped it up and started cooking it. Meaning, our food hadn’t even been processed during the 30+ minutes we’d been waiting. After giving it to the kitchen we got our food almost rightaway. We honestly wondered if we should’ve done that from the start—basically taking over the server’s job by checking on the food ourselves and handing it out.
By the time our food was almost finished, our drinks still hadn’t been served. We had completely given up on waiting. We were sitting right in front of the drink-making station and saw FULL glasses of drinks melting under the sun—including our own: milk tea and iced tea. So again, I had to go up and ask for our drinks, and our order number. They said they didn’t have any drinks under our number, but said they would check. Eventually, I just asked if I could take the drinks myself. After some back and forth, they finally let me—since they also couldn’t find the receipt for our drinks.
So very Lol experience. Read reviews!!!...
Read moreI recommend Crispy pork with sambal matah compared to the non-fried one. in terms of taste and price it is normal. not too expensive and not cheap either. The minimum price range is Rp. 60,000,- or the equivalent of $4 USD. The price is quite okay in Bali with a place that is just ordinary and not the most comfortable and not clean either.👍
For food, I really like the crunch and aroma combined with the matah chili sauce. As a non-fried food lover, this is delicious for me. I will come back to Bali and try again.👍
However, service needs to be improved in terms of cleanliness. The toilets are very dirty 👎and unhygienic. for women it will feel uncomfortable. the toilet is full of used toilet tissue in the trash can.👎 And then, such as giving requests information, got the wrong information from me. I requested the Sambel Matah separated on a plate. but only raw shallots came out and there were no lime leaves or oil or chilies. so the food is quite bad with the combination. Hopefully this will provide additional information
As for the place, it's actually okay. if it could be cleaner and more comfortable I'm sure more people would come.

Read moreThe place is easy to find, the street in front of the restaurant is wide so you can easily park your vehicle. The restaurant looks small from the outside, but they have seating area too in the back (I think it’s near toilet).
I came here with my mom in April 2021 on Tuesday morning, so it wasn’t crowded. They have a simple dishes, white/ fried rice and fried pork served with sambal matah. We got a really tender fried pork, the sambal matah was good too, not really spicy and also dominant with the smell of soy sauce. They also have fried pork serves with chilli (different from sambal matah), this chilli is VERY spicy, so for those who aren’t used to spicy food, don’t try this menu - Babi Goreng Cabe.
I personally liked the fried pork and sambal matah menu, and would recommend this place to my friend or anyone who’s visiting Bali, but I think it’s a little pricey. I heard this restaurant easily get crowded, so if you better...
