Been going here for a quick meal and ordered their various dishes. Favourites are pork belly eggs and pork trotters. Missing tea eggs on the menu. Pork belly can be more crispy and fats. Not included in the review: their congee is surprisingly good for a non-fan like me. It has the right texture: not too runny and not too gooey. Ate it with salted peanuts. I like the paofan bits when it’s near the end. Can do more variety of toppings other than the pork meatballs. Paitan? The dumplings skin is too thick and not enough fillings. Can be more juicy. Hongkong noodle texture is the closest to those you slurp on the island but definitely way too sweet without any toppings unless if you order the soup version with shrimp wontons. They do need more fillings. I don’t like the babi hong. The meat is thin and wiry. You cannot taste the meat at all and it’s way too sweet. I like the bokchoys. Do not understand why the restaurant has no fermented blackbean taoco / sichuan chili peppers dipping sauce with the roasted meats. And no chopsticks for take-aways? 😮💨 I like their jasmine cha very much. Best served hot to wash down all the roasted meats variety consumed. Value best meal? Come on Tuesday and Friday for 30%-off-ish promotion for their roasted pork belly and egg rice. You get thicker chunks for less while it lasts....

The restaurant wasn’t as small, hot, open air as it looks from the bypass and the busy traffic. Their open air sitting area and kitchen were located outside by the road for easy ventilation and smoking. However, they have a spacious indoor area with aircon that was really comfortable. The restaurant wasn’t fancy but they have comfortable chairs and good tables (that don’t wobble).
The food was good. The porridge reminded me of that of my grams. The soy lettuce was excellent, cooked to perfection. The char siew was the weakest. The crispy pork belly was indeed crispy and tasted good but it wasn’t like what you expect/ not the cube cut in picture which you’d usually find in HK or Singapore (here you get thin slices with minimum crispy skin and cut into the thick samchan). The pork knuckle is the best I have had in the whole island - tender, off the bones, melt in your mouth, sweet and salty. Totally guilty pleasure.
The service was friendly enough, willing but...
Read moreFirst time came to this place because of the rating on google. I chose Set B 5 Combinations. There're soy braised baby duck, HK crystal chicken thigh, HK style babi hong, Crispy Pork Belly, Soy Braised Pork Belly, Pokcoy with wfh premium soy sauce and also free HK Thin noodle (dry) and HK style congee. For me, all of them was superb. Except the Soy Braised Baby Duck which for me a little bit tough. Oh yeah i forgot to mention, all of their sambal (we got 4 different sambals) was also tasty, quite spicy and best. What a combination food they have. One of the best experience food i have in Bali. For me, it was recommended place to bring family and friends. And for price, for my opinion, worth the taste. I spent around 200k for 2 persons with that taste, SURELY will come back again.
Thank you Wong Fei Hung for the best services,...
