AMP Beach House Nusa Penida — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

The food has poor taste. We ordered 1 small Beer B ( the beer serve half cold and gets warm after 10 minutes) , 1 water mineral, 1 chicken BBQ vegetable that taste nothing like BBQ (actually it comes as Chicken fried or at least not grill chicken with Bolognese sauce taste on top and steam vege that has ZERO taste), we also order callamary rings (that comes with 5 or 6 roll of tinny calamary, ketchup, and 2 slice of cucumber and tomatoes and the calamary taste like chemical or at least not fresh. Basically the only good tatse of the food and well cook was the french fries.

The place was dirty, the sofa are dusty and sandy, the pool was sooo dirty, the table are dusty, some table are dirty with dirty empty plate that they didnt clean it, The staff was not that friendly ( not saying welcome or thank you) and we were actually in very good mood so we were smile.

For those simple food that i describe above, It took them literally 53 minutes to arrived on my table. with NO spoon and or fork. its amazing how low their standart is considering how high their price is. we paid 230 for all of those where the beach reataurant next door cost us 130 with a better food and services.

I'm not going to write this if its not too much. For the management of AMP Beach Club please take this as a lesson to increase your standart. seriously! If its still like that, this place is not...

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Such lovely people! The Wi-Fi is good. The pool area is super nice and the view is wonderful, but the rooms… There is a fridge in the room and a small coffee area. And one chair in the room. But: the rooms are very small (I guess with! the terrace not more than 25sqm). There is not even one drawer in the whole room or bathroom. I think because there is no space for a cupboard. But even the nightstands don’t have one. The bathroom has not even one hanger. When I have a shower the whole bathroom is wet, as there is no shower curtain or door. There is not even one plug in the bathroom. Yes, you can dry your hair in the bedroom, but there is no mirror then. And last but not least: I hear everything the neighbors say. Not only from the pool area, also from the room next door. Every single word and also their fridge. So the walls must be very thin. If you can’t find the hair dryer, beach towels or hangers , ask for them, they will bring you some (why do I need to ask for them? They knew, guests would arrive). And don’t forget, that there is no safe in the room. We haven’t tried the food yet, as the restaurant closes at 7pm, but the iced coffee is good. So in total, I would not recommend this hotel. If there were 6 stars rating on Google map they’d deserve it, one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to, and I’m a frequent traveler, both business and for leisure. The amenities were top notch but what’s mentioning the most were the services they provided. We lost our bag (with wallet and Earpod in it) during our last night at Penida in a nearby restaurant, we realized it the next day and weren’t able to get it back due to our very early cruise departure the next day, so we gave hotel a call when we arrived in our next destination and the hotel staff and staff manager Gym were so kind to help us go to the restaurant and get it back and more, unfortunately by the time they got it for us we were already back in our country so they offered to couriered it to us. The deed really speaks volume of how much they cared for their guests, they really take care of you and put your needs in priority. Besides the bag incident, we enjoyed hotel pool, easy access to the beach, breakfast, meals and the room itself. We would definitely revisit and stay with them again if we ever get a chance visit...
